I would never buy from Brecks. What is the point of using their $25 credit when you get inferior or worse no bulbs at all.
Buy from the growers. That way you are pretty sure you will get healthy bulbs true to name or replacements next year.

On buying lilies...
Just checked my status and my Buggy order is on the way. Oh, now I really can't wait. Lisa is a true wonder.
I just wanted to say how happy I am to have found Dave's and all of the secrets I never knew about! You guys are great. Really. I have learned so much this year here. And it's because of all of you that I am lily crazier than ever, mind you, everyone around these parts already thought I was before all of this DG stuff.
I have to sneak online when my sisters are around or the words "obessessed gardener" come up all too often.
Thanks for each of you and all you bring to this forum.
Well, I am glad you sneak around a lot, Mag.
Okay.....never in my wildest dreams have I EVER, EVER seen the size bulbs I got from Buggy Crazy today. How does she do it? Even her asiatic bulbs are huge! I knew they might be big, but Wow. Picture this, my mouth dropped to the floor, over bulbs. Now that is CRAZY! She has a customer for life.
OK, so where are the pics??
Ugh, ugh ugh....Husband's got the digital camera, so I have nothing right now. I planted them already. I may just dig one up and post it, when I get the camera back..... This Yellow Henry bulb was GIGANTIC!
Yippee, I got my bulbs from Mainiac and BuggyCrazy!! Mainiac is the most generous soul! She sent way more bulbs than she should have and they are in excellent condition. She had Iowa Rose. :) I mean, face it, living in Iowa, one must have Iowa Rose, right? You might want to check out her auctions on Lily Auction. Thanks ever so much Ramona! BuggyCrazy's bulbs, are well, BuggyCrazy's, what more can I say. :) I have to go back and go through everything and make labels till the cows come home!
I gently suggested to the husband that he was going to need to rent the sod stripper and get cracken on the new garden in the back yard. :) I've got a ton of peony to move and a couple on the way yet. Plus, a few other things to be planted there. He moaned, but he knows it's useless to whine. :) He was in an accident last Tuesday (he's fine and so is the guy that hit him), and his pick-up was totaled, and we were out today replacing it with a newer used pick-up, so... :)
