Why is it that everytime I start a new message on any forum here, mine always shows up as a "no" under the New? column. Nearly everyone else has that big red Yes. Am I not holding my mouth right or something here?

Lettuceman, the yes indicates to you that there has been a new post made on that thread that you haven't seen yet. You won't see a yes on a post you made because you have seen it.

So everyone else who posts on these forums sees a no on their computer while I see a yes on mine...gotcha!

Ummmm, actually it's the other way around. When you post or start a new thread, everyone else will then see a "Yes" (meaning there's something new to them) and you see a "no" (since your post isn't new to you ;o)
