im hoping someone out there has jumped!!! lol

i am going to jump for the first time this month and i have heard that if your blood sugar is high you can get sick during the jump.
the place im going to has pictures of thease people who have gotten sick... omg just what i want to see, lol
so im wondering if this is true that someone can shed some light on what not to eat on that day.
god only knows i dont want to be on their bad wall, what the heck you only live once why not have some fun

When you first jump you feel weightless. Then air resistance takes over and you won't accelerate anymore unless you streamline yourself. You will feel gravity and know up and down. When you pull the chute you will get an immediate bigger feeling of gravity.

Did it once about ten years ago, and loved it, but it to costly. First jump cost 250$ it gets less expencive after a few jumps, but don`t have that kind of money sigh....
We were never told about high blood sugar, have you ask them there were you will jump?

no i have my appt on sat the 26th, my sister in law and myself are jumping at two o clock actually im looking foward to it, i say this now lol ,

well i did it !!! and what a thrill of a lifetime,i jumped the 10.000 foot tandem,and can
guarantee i will do this again, i can truly understand how this can become addicting lol..

there were people who ate sugery thing before their jump and did get sick.

the gal before me passed out two minutes before her landing woke only to get sick in the field which i did not understand at all.. but like i said i loved it and will do it again liz

There you go Liz well done :o))) one of the best feelings to have ever had isn`t. Once you try it, youll have to try it again. How much did it cost?
Lear something evey day, have never heard about high suggar could make you sick.
Good thing you din`t. To bad the gal before you got sick though.

it was a incredible feeling of freedom, to my surprise i had no anxiety or fear of any kind even when the door opened!
what i was focused on was how we were going to get on that tiny step outside.
and of coarse the tiny quarters in the plane and the duck tape on the roof...lol
(the silly things we focus on) this cost 159.00 for the jump and 99.95 for the video and stills.

HOWEVER LOL
i have found a place a little closer to home that offers a 18.000 foot jump for 349.00 this includes; oxygen above 10.000, a dvd,tee shirt,log book,$20.00 off your next jump by golly this sounds like a gimme!!!

if i dont do this by the end of summer it will definatly be in the spring. have a good day liz

18.000 foot for 349.00, that is a bargen! You have to take that one sometime

You people are insane.........LOL My brother, sister, neice................have jumped. In 2 weeks they are going to do it again, and MY SON AND DIL are going to also. Arghhhhhhhhhhhh..........they wanted to know if we were going to come and watch them. I don't know if I can handle it! :>) I think Hubby would do it if he ever got the chance. His life insurance is paid up and we have new wills, so I guess if he wants to he can! Bwahahaha.........I hate flying in the first place, but not bad enough to jump out of the plane when it is in the air! Glad ya'll had fun, it looks like it would be a real rush, if it was your thing.

Yes, they did get videos of the jumps. I guess jumping isn't so bad if I'm watching from the comfort of my chair. LOL They are pretty cool, tho, but I'm too much of a chicken to jump out of a plane when it is a gazillion miles up in the air. That first step is a doozy! :>)
