Water Bubbler Propagator - Results

Greensboro, AL

To make a propagator you need an acquarium or large plastic tub, acquarium air pump, airline tubingh, and air stones - like these.

you can get the whole thing at Walmart for less than 20 dollars.

I would not try to propagate in a tank that has fish in it.

They have their own life and deserve not to be disturbed.

Would it be a good idea to put some paper or pant around the jar to block light to the roots ?
Here is some rosemary cuttings, ready for their pots.
Took about 2 weeks, nothing added to water.

I got lost. My coleus never got sent to me from Plumera Gallery. Even after many promises neither did the money I payed them. I frankly lost interest. I hate it when I get worked over while mostly the rest of the web merchants are bending over backwards to give excellent service.

Glad to see a couple of you are experimenting with rooting in water using air and or oxygen created several ways.

My son gave me a little waterfall with a lucky bamboo in it. It is so full of cuttings I had to take the bamboo out. The plants sprout so fast I have to plant them and get more cuttings.
