Sure appreciate you guys .. lookin' out for any of us occasional muddlers.
I don't believe that (such), is what got me into the current state - but feel that other folks may will benefit by the refresher course provided .. in the info posted [here], also > http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/376188/

* Thank you Terry *
You're very welcome! Are you getting any of that promised rain your way? (Feel like sharing it with us parched Tennesseans?????)
The thunder 'storms' by-passed our specific lil spot in the Ozarks, earlier yesterday .. but 'heard' that Little Rock got a good soaking.
So far, there's been only wee dribbles every now and again, since last night. But, it IS moisture, and seems to be aiding the grass seed sprouts & flower transplants in the new beds from our backyard re-vamp .. along with quenching everything else that's been 'panting' around here.
Up until yesterday .. we'd hauled water from the Boxley Spring, on a couply 'casions .. fer 'safety'.
Hopefully .. a good dose, will be heading to you guys', soon.
(I put a lil sticky-note on my prayers!) .. heehee ..

Isn't the weather a 'current event'?! LOL
What are you two talking about anyway? 'current state' and all?
I'm getting a little afraid to post, frankly. I've already been censored once. I'd like to discuss global warming. That's science, for one thing, and it directly affects gardeners all over the world.
But ANYTHING can become a political issue. Even weather. Snow pack (there will be no snow to ski on in Colorado by the end of this century), global warming (desert planting in places that used to be temperate), natural disasters, drought, invasive species--ALL of these are or can be political, so I guess all of them go into the compost bin.
I'll have to be very careful to constantly self-censor from here on out, I guess. I may not even be allowed this post.
