question on making forums or favorites

How come when I click on an entire forum to be a favorite, thenall the other forums that show up on my home page, (ones I'm not particularly watching) don't show up.

I'd like to watch certainforums and have them show up on top all the time, but I don't want all the other s to disappear from my homepage. Is there anyway to fix this? I"m not talking about watching threads, i'm talking about adding forums to our favorite list.

To review or edit your favorite forums altogether, here are the steps:

1) Click on My Info link (just beneath the main feature tabs at the top.)

2) Click on "Manage your preferences"

3) Choose "Forums" from the left-hand column

4) Place a check next to those you want to appear on your home page - uncheck any that you don't.

5) Be sure to hit "submit" (at the bottom) when you're done!

That will set you up with your favorites. Then if you find any other forums you want to add to your favorites, just click the "Add this" link in the upper right-hand corner of that forum.
