Aroids Forum? .. Anyone?

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

I'm new and I thought there might be enough interest in Aroids to start their own forum. They include but not limited to: amorphophallus, caladiums, elephant ears.. I really think there are more than three people (I've been "talking with a couple of people about them) interested.. Post yer interest here! Happy Gardening-Bonnie

Hi, snboyken, I just subscribed here last week and although I'm not completely computer illiterate... Could you post something on the bulb forum and hyperlink it to this one? Please? Maybe we'll get more interest and in turn a new Aroid forum... thanks so much. So far, just the 3 of us and 25 people have seen the post her on Dave's Garden forum.

AuntB, you might try posting a link to this thread on the Tropicals forum too--there's a fair amt of discussion over there on some of these plants so you might find a few more people there. All you need to do to post a link is copy what's showing up in the Address bar of your browser right now as you look at this message (use mouse to highlight, then click Control-C), then go to the Tropicals forum and start a new thread, and paste the link (Control-V). DG program takes care of making the hyperlink if you do it that way.

(thought I posted this, maybe I did to the wrong forum) Thank you, ecrane3, for the instruction and interest. Wow, so simple! -Bonnie

I will check and if you haven't posted I will post a link. Philos are my favorite.

I would like a forum

West Central, FL(Zone 9b)

Since many of the questions I see on the Tropical forum are related to Aroids I think a forum of it's own is justified!

Opelika, AL

Oh please,we NEED it badly! Don't forget the philodendrons!

Bessemer City, NC(Zone 7b)

I am in favor of an Aroid forum, too.

One of the most interesting groups of plants for me personally.

I just started some caladium bulbs, first timer here. Can use all the help I can get. Count me in too.

Mandeville, LA(Zone 9a)

Count me in! I have about 25 anthuriums and a bunch of philos too! You need to get Brian Williams (tropicals forum) involved. He's the aroid king.

Orlando, FL

I like cadiums also. I have quite a few they come up everywhere but the sun burns them. I dont have a lot of shade for them but had some years ago and tried to dig them up but lo and behold they come back if you miss any of the bulb.lol. Fran
