Dave, new forum for phenology?

Dave, I read an article the other day about phenology and was wondering if it would be good for a new forum. It said things like, plant perennials when maple leaves emerge from bud, when forsythia bloom, prune roses, etc. What do you think? thanks, vic

Vic, I read an article about phenology and found it quite fascinating myself. It said to plant corn when oak leaves are the size of a squirrel's ear and you shouldn't fertilize your lawn until the forsythias are in bloom.

That's a GREAT IDEA VIC'''I think we all could benefit and share experiences'' Here on the prairie, the elders are still using "old ways" have learned sooo much' I would participate''' Sis''

Whew! You had me worried for a minute - I wasn't sure how we would handle a thread about feeling the bumps on our heads, but then I realized that I was thinking about PHRENOLOGY.
