Link from PlantScout Entry to GardenWatchdog Entry

I love PlantScout and use frequently - I also love the GardenWatchdog to check up on companies before I order anything.

Right now, there is a link from the Garden Watchdog page to the PlantScout (or a list of plants the company has in PlantScout), but there is no link (at least I didn't see one) from the PlantScout list to the GardenWatchdog page for the company. It would make it simple when using PlantScout to check on a company's Watchdog rating if there were a direct link back to GardenWatchdog on the PlantScout page. It's great going from Garden Watchdog to PlantScout - it would be even better if there was a link going the other way, too.

Just a suggestion.

I think the reason there isn't a link back into the GWD is because we received feedback from vendors and users that they didn't want the added step of going to the GWD entry to access the vendor's site.

Since there are only so many places to link to the vendor (and to avoid confusion), we decided it was better to steer all of them to the vendor's website.

But (edited to add), if you start with a PlantFiles entry - here's one as an example): http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/53067/ and click on the PS link at the top, it takes you to a table where you can choose to go to their GWD entry or directly to their site (I *thought* there was a GWD link in there somewhere! ;o)

so you can quickly click back over and see what the GWD rating is on the company.

You're right if you start with PlantFiles you can go to either place, but if you start with PlantScout, you can't - you can go to PlantScout list or you can go to the company site, but you can't directly go to GWD for that company. . .

does that make sense?

Yes, that's what I mean!! I think it would be beneficial for anyone using PlantScout.
