Rita, that is quite a collection of brugs you have there, you must be an avid collector.
I wish I was into those, I would be in brug heaven.
They are not hardy here, and I don't have a greenhouse or an appropiate place to have them during the winter, but they sure are beautiful.
I am sure as soon as another collector notices your post, you will have lots of requests.

Rita, here is the link to the Lizard's Tail, it is an aquatic plant, but can also live outside of the water. http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/627/index.html
Josephine.
Yep Josaphine count me in for some, thanks Rita.
It is done Rita.
did I see trumpet vine listed.
frostweed, you wouldn't by chance have any extra seed? After looking at what you have for trade and such, I no I really don't have anythignyou would want. You have about 50 times the assortment of plants that I have. But willing to except other ways to obtain some seed.
calvin
Calvin, I don't have the seed, I have the plant,
it is yours if you want it, and any others you like.
Please don't be shy about it, I love to give plants away, I pot them for that purpose.
Let me know what you want.
Josephine.
Frost you are always so gracious and giving,
I would like to claim the/a trumpet vine and red salvia. I am running out of space but have set aside room for these. vine in a pot for over wintering and salvia for front yard bed. I think the salvia would look good with the blue plumbago and cuphia(bat faced) I just put there last week after a great shopping trip Nada.
I was really amazed at how lush and awake the Boerne Nurseries were. Never knew they were there until Nada told me about them. They actually were better and healthier looking(plants and facilities) than some of the SA nurseries I have visited. Minus ARE, Rainbowgardens on Thousand oaks Drive.
So, trumpet vine and red salvia, Please?
calivn
Calvin I have the Salvia and Trumpet vine reserved for you.
How are the Texas star seedlings coming along?
My DW & I are looking forward to our 1st Plant Swap and meeting new friends!

3 - Evergreen Wisteria (Millettia reticulata)
plants (1 reserved for Josephine, 1 for Calvin)
4 - Coral honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens)

4 - Ruellia - "Blue Shade" plants
6 - Flatwoods Plum (Prunus umbellata) seedlings (about 8-10" tall now)
(1 reserved for Renatelynne)
Mexican Petunia plants (let me know & I'll pot them)
(tall ones - I think they're "Purple Showers")
Turks Cap - 1 plant & seeds
I also have 4 o'clock tubers or seeds -
white, yellow, pink or red (let me know)
Coral Bean seeds and plantlets (this year)
I also have numerous Red Spider Lilies (Lycoris radiata)
(Bringing some for Rita)
Plumeria rubra (unknown cultivar - looks like "Grove Farm" in PF)
1 reserved for GD, 1 for Nada, 1 for Melanie, 1 for Calvin

Frostweed, The TX stars are doing great 4 so far and they are about 6 " long now and looking healthy. I am waiting for the roots strengthen before removig from cup to pot up or place in their new home bed.
calvin
Excellent, this is all so exciting!!!
Anybody seeing some of that wet stuff yet? Whee! Beau-ti-FUL!
We got a fow drops here this evening, still hoping, can't remember the last time we got rain.
Rain today... no gauge to tell how much but enough to quinch a thirst (the plants I mean). The weather channel said 30% and we got some wettness. Tomorrow thru thurs, they predict 40%. I can only hope they are wrong and it turns out 100% BINGO.
It really saves me some time and worries
calvin
Calvin,...I've an Evergreen Wisteria with your name on it! Please save a few of the lilac Moonflower seeds for me. I use to have one a few years back and thought it was a beautiful plant! Thanks! Lee
Josephine, I'm not sure if you saw my big thank you on the other SA area plant swap thread.....but a big Thank You for the Western Ironweed! lol.... :)
You are welcome TXT, it makes me happy to spread those natives around.
Willis edited earlier thread to show seed set a siddde for ya. If you want more than 10 let me know.
I reckon I'll take this space to try to list what I've got that I want to bring. Currently I have:
Vicks plant
Mealy blue sage
Russian sage
Cardinal sage
Night blooming jasmine
Turks cap
This list will change!
Many Thanks,...Calvin!
I'm lookin' forward to meeting everyone!
I've included a photo of one of my older Evergreen Wisteria's (layered 2 yr old) flower clusters. It is starting to come into it's own.
The plants I'll have for you & Josephine and to trade
are 1 yr old (after detached). I lifted another 6 layers this year....but they need some time to develop a stronger root ball ....maybe by October they may be available. Talk to ya later
Lee
bump
thank you for the pic willis.
I, too, am looking forward to meeting more DGers. I don;t have a map so where is willis Tx?
calvin
We're located about 50 - 60 miles N/NE of Houston
on the edge of the Sam Houston Nat'l Forest/Big Thicket
area.
I'll need to get directions to the Swap Meet when we get closer to the time.
just let us know and someone if I happen not to be monitoring this site then will give you directs. I bet you have lots of pine needs around? Got any left over I could use for mulch?
calvin
Hmmm,...I've got friends with mucho needles and by that time,...I may be able to roundup some....I'll see what I can do!
Willis it would be much appreciated. I have been told that they add acid to the soil. Not sure if they do or not but I do know that my parents gardens are thriving woth the use of pine needles. Bugs too, but great soil none the less. I can live with bugs not clayie, limestone soil or rock. hehehehehe
