I almost laughed when I first heard tha name google & certainly didn 't take it serious at first.
Laugh at me now!

Look at them now!
Their how it came about is interesting, at least to me.
Perhaps I'm one of the few that didn't know this;

The company's name is a derivation of the mathematical term "Googol", meaning 1 followed by 100 zeros.

My sister is doing a Family Tree and discovered Google Earth in the process. We were able to locate the house in Brooklyn, NY where my grandparents lived in the 1920s. The house is actually still there and being able to zoom in and see it is absolutely amazing. Google in general is an amazing tool and has opened up a whole world of information.
