8:15 monday evening, all 3 opened up and are really pretty, I love the tendrils on this one!
Velvet Rose
Oh, she's pretty. Laurrie. I like the blow by blow account of the bloom.
thanks Ada, I am going thru my disks and taking the time off them now, I always like to see start to finish and thought other folks would like to know too just when it looked like what!!
more morning shots to follow now :)
Beautiful!! I'm sure you feel like a "proud parent" now.
Maybe you should call in sick today. ;)
It's a beauty. Love the color.

Laurrie, felt that birth blow by blow , and a fine offspring it is as well, send the baby some ground up seeweed meal from me.
LOL!! Laurie, you are the proud mama!! But I don't blame you, she is such a beauty!!
LOL it was fun, just adore taking photos of good subjects LOL
Laurie, it is a real beauty!!
Bonnie
I love the curly tendrils!! How cute! I'm glad they are holding up for you in the heat!!
I have to take it to work with me again today to show a gal that wasn't working tuesday, so today is it's last trip with me LOL well to work anyway
I love it's morning color when the sun just comes up, it is that color all day, and at night it's so pretty, but I don't like the shots with the flash on, it washes it out, so tonight will try to get some shots without flash
Laurrie...Not too proud a Mama are ya!? Well I just don't blame you, if I had one that was suppose to look like that I'd probably be camping out with it! Very pretty. Happy for ya! Bj
She is truly beautiful and I am so happy for you. I wish every one would feel that way about there plants no mater what kind they are. Joan
Since I don't have one like this to enjoy, the next best thing is sharing the beauty of these blooms through wonderful DGers
who care enough to post for others to see -
Thanks so much,
Louise
You must have stayed up all night with the camera. I don't blame you a bit if you did. That is really some good pictures and a beautiful brug.
I loved your sequences! Beautiful .. I love those tendrils too!

Thank you everyone, I find that no matter which brug is ready to open, I make time to get some good shots of it, because myself for one, I can't drag all my family members here everynight to see them lol so I take photos, and yes I drag them to work if I can and all around the neighborhood lol but it's mostly my immediate family and neighbors that actually are nearby when they open to see them, plus I keep a file each year on what I grow and I like start to finish photos so that during those winter months when I am trying to keep them alive, I can refresh my memory and remember just why I am trying so hard to keep them over a harsh winter lol
I also have made calendars for my family and friends/co-workers, etc. of the brugs they seem to love them, I just like to show them off, and am so happy to share with everyone on the forums.
I need to see what all photos are in the plants database as well, and add some there if they are needed.
Thanks again, you all have been a wonderful audience watching and waiting with me ;)
I guess after last nights storm I won't be getting too many more shots of it, there are about 3 more due to open perhaps tonight from this flush, then it's back to drooling over photos
