Sorry if this topic has been approached before. If so, I reckon I must've missed the why's and wherefores.
It used to be that folks could submit pics of any size and DG would automatically resize them to (I think) 640 X 480. That size fit the monitor perfectly and there was no need to scroll up or down/side to side to view the pics.
Is that set-up no longer working, or is it for some reason my computer settings that are causing it?
It sure was a nice feature in the past. (Many folks seem to be posting large pics. I hope we can go back to the auto-resize feature. Or perhaps tell me what I can do at my end to keep from scrolling up and down, back and forth ?)

Re: Automatic Picture resizing...
this bugs me, too. ; )
If it's no longer re-sizing, then my guess is it's a bug for Dave to fix.
(Or you could buy a wall-sized monitor ;o)
If the image is over 1,000 pixels wide, it resizes it down to, I believe, 800 pixels.

Terry, methinks that one day we'll be able to hook up our computers to those huge big screen tv's and we can view our computer work from 'way across the room, eh!?
Yep dave, you're right, it resizes them to 800. I think I'll need to change my settings or just hope that people will shrink their original pics before posting them. (Most people seem to use the 640 X 480 size and that works perfect for me!)
No worries. I'm a happy camper! Thanks.

Horseshoe.......with a TV-out card you already can do it. My son often hoocks up his puter to his 32-Widescreen TV. If you have a TV with the red-yellow-white plugin thingys in the front or back you can do it. He also make a Splitscreen thingy on the puter so on one screen he playes World of Warcraft and on the other screen he chats with people all over the world. My son a puter addict!! lol yes big time. But I have managed to get him more out of the house now.
Also check out Dells new XPS M2010..........Talk about laptop/mediacenter WITH internet as extra accessorie.

Shoe - "high end" graphic cards usally have an "S" video output jack, most computers with integrated video do not at this point (with the exception being some "top-end" laptops).
An S video connector will work with many tv, vcr or dvd players. - Dyson

Yep Shoe, we have the technology! LOL
Our DVD player was messing up a couple of weeks ago, so hubby put the DVD in the laptop and connected the laptop to the TV. All is well that ends well. :)
I wonder what DG looks like on a 50" flat screen and how long they kids would let me get by with it. hehehehe
We had to use an InFocus projector last week at the office for a presentation and of course, up popped DG as my home page - WOW !!! It looks really cool at 6' x 6' :)
