Dave, on the propagation forum I've been refering to a site that I use for plant hormones, I hope I'm within the bounds for doing this, I don't want to be out of line and loose any privileges, so let me know. I have looked at others but they are more expensing and not as hobbiest friendly as this site so when anyone is talking about what rooting hormones to use, I tell them what I have done, thanks hostajim1

Jim, as long as it's not your company, and you're not standing to profit or benefit from mentioning the site, we don't have any problem with it being mentioned. The forums exist so members can share information with one another.

Where the self-promotion problems typically occur are in one of two situations:

a) When someone promotes their own website or business;
and/or
b) When a vendor uses a mention of their company (by another member) as a springboard for discussing (and thus promoting) their business.
