anyone remember this propagation post?

I recently read a post about propagation that described a method in which you sink a small terracotta pot (with the bottom sealed up) into a larger pot filled with perlite, then water the perlite and let it drain, and finally insert your cuttings around the edges of the larger pot. You fill the smaller pot with water, keeping it topped up, and the water leaches out into the perlite. Ring any bells?

I jotted down some notes at the time, bought the supplies, and made a 2-pot propagator for some pelargonium cuttings. So far, so good, although it's only been 2 days. Now I'd like to review the original post, but I can't find it. I've searched DG with no luck, even though I used every pertinent keyword(s) I could think of. Ditto for Google.

If someone recalls where that post is, I'd really appreciate you telling me. This time I'll make sure to note its location in my journal.

Thanks!

dispatcher1: That's the one! After reading it again, I see I totally forgot about the peat moss. Guess I'd better go get some pronto and redo my propagating set-up.

stellapathic: The post you mentioned isn't the one I remembered, even though it describes the same basic method. I'm glad you mentioned this post, though, because I hadn't thought I could use this method for AVs.

Thanks to both of you!
