We've all seen H. finlaysonii a million times but that's what's blooming today.

This has been an easy plant and a consistent bloomer for me.

WOW - BEAUTIFUL picture and flower, Susan!

Trelleborg, Sweden

I just love that type of flower when they are not yet reflexed. Wish they'd stay that way!

New thread needs new flowers. Here's cumingiana for you.

My sp. Tanna had sort of a "curly" bud and the flower is really cute with its curly corolla lobes.

And the constant blooming green pottsii. Not as green this time, but still nice.

Susan, that is a stunning picture - good job!
Christina, I remain jealous of your blooms and your photos.
How does each one of those blooms smell, ladies?

*sigh* Christina - your photos are amazing, as are your flowers!

Trelleborg, Sweden

Thank you, ladies! Glad you enjoy them.

Cumingiana was up for discussion in another thread and I find the fragrance to be like coconut with a hint of citrus to it.

Sp. Tanna smells almost nothing, but if you stick your nose in the flowers you get this "moist old" smell.

The green pottsii smells very spicy and strong, but yet nice.

Susan...I love H. finlaysonii with it's funky leaves and lovely flowers....nothing to scream home about, but beautiful in its' own way.

Having fun on vacation?????

League City, TX(Zone 9a)

Nice blooms and photos Christina! I lost tags on several of my plants! It makes DH crazy when I do that. Tanna is one of the plants missing a tag. I have two hoya that have similar leaves and growth habits. Guess I just have to wait for them to bloom.

Philomath, OR

Hello All, This is the Multiflora that I have rooting in water. The blooms started the last week of June and are still going strong! Yes, it is still in water and will be potted as soon as the flowers fall.

Christina, all I can say is WOW!

NB54, as usual- FAB!

God bless, -joanne

There is a weird H. kerrii set of blooms out there (about 4 on one vine), but I have to go out tomorrow to get the pic. It is getting too dark here now, and I didn't get it yet. To be continued....

Marcy, your bella is beautiful.....never seen so many blooms on one....wow, very nice...

Sandy

OMG Marcy the H. bella is magnificent! She would be dead, dead in my climate. Too warm here. I can't grow it. That's unbelievable. How much time do you spend staring at it?

Long Beach, CA

Since I hung it right outside my kitchen window...a LOT. ha ha.
I can even squirt Eleanors on it from there now. Ha

Prescott, AZ

Beautiful Bella Marcy. How many bloom cycles do you get from her? If I could only have one hoya this is the hoya that I would choose. Mine is looking pretty frumpy right now from the heat. No cool spot here. Simply breathtaking, thanks for sharing.

Trelleborg, Sweden

LOVE that bella, Marcy! Mine just keeps dying... It just bloomed a lot and now it's dying - again! I think bella hates me...

Shepherdii doesn't:

Here is a string of H. kerrii blooms all on one vine. I could not believe there was just this whole line of them like that. Ha. (they were all very STICKY and dripping too). I was glad the plant was outside.

Marcy, I am screaming with jealousy right now! That is a stunner. Good thing it's not inside because it would probably smell you out of the house.

I think I am about to get lucky!

H. callistophylla - second showing - opened for me this morning. Between the incredible venation of her leaves, the "earthy" olive green color of the unopened buds, and the pretty flowers, this one is really a favorite of mine....um, not that I've seen that many others with flowers, though!! Karen

Karen, that is beautiful! Congrats.

Dimorpha has rather much pink in its buds this time. Guess it depends on that it has been placed in a southfacing window with much sunlight lately.

ooooh, Lotta, post a photo when it opens. That is a lovely looking bud.

Long Beach, CA

Karen...I'm with you on that callistophylla. It has never bloomed for me, but I love it anyway for those pretty leaves.
Lotta...gorgeous buds. They are even pretty...BEFORE they open. Ha.
