Lali's been shoppin'! I found some amazing begonias after work on Wednesday.

Don't kill me Sue, but I hit Sloats in San Fran after working at the Arboretum on Wednesday. (it's across the street from the Zoo)
Filled the Super Begonia Beetle right to the top with some beauties. Big lush full 8" pots of lovable begonias!

Here's a big 'Rudy's Luxurians' hyb. (back left)
a noid rhizo in the lower front and Escargot (that one I didn't get, it's one I already had)
Shamus way down at the bottom

Here's the Escargot again but with the new ones down in the front right and just behind lower left.
Actually that upright rhizo in the back is one of the new gals too.

Wow, what happened to my photo? Let's try that again.

Trying to get everyone in for a group shot. The only one I know the id of is the polka-dotted cane in the center
Begonia maculata var 'Wightii'

Another with noid. but looks like one I have named 'one of the swishers' which I understand there are several seedlings with 'swisher' in the name.
So I don't know if this one is actually named that or is just called that based on the understanding it is one of them.

Another, noid, but the all green on on the right is b. 'alice-clarkiae'

This poor 'medora' was leaf-less a month ago when I brought her out of the playhouse. She got a case of the PM and lost every last leaf. looking a bit better now.

So much for having a place to put the coffee. here's my coffee table in this part of the garden.
Starting from the fuchsia going clockwise.
b. semperflorens (double apple blossom pink)
b. heracleifolia
two kalanchoe
geranium
b. manicata aureo-maculata
geranium, can't remember her name
and
in the center
b. taiwaniana

there's that b. 'Rudy's Hybrid' (I'm guessing, could be 'Stewart's Luxurians' but I think it's Rudy's.

b. semperflorens 'Linda' that I planted last year. She's about 2' tall now. Overwintered in the greenhouse. There's a neat story behind the pottery she lives in, remind me to tell it later on.

Some more of the smaller ones. I think that's begonia rex (the original one) in the center bottom.

One Kell tried to hide from me last month at Berkeley Hort. It's useless, I can sniff a begonia from a mile away.

One I got from Rob's violet barn a while back but it's finally sizing up. LOVE the foliage on this one.
