New PF images not showing in actual plant page

I was looking at a few of the new images and when I click on the plant name to go see the info on that plant, none of the new images appear on their respective pages.

Sue, can you give me a link to an example?

Terry, I or my computer are nuts. I SWEAR on each one I clicked on it the current page 1 in the PF forum list, the images were not there. Now they are! (shaking head)

I've found that it takes awhile for the images to show up on the plants entry page. Sometimes longer than other times. But if I click on switch to live view, they are there then.

Yeah, I must have somehow been caught in between.
By the way, another question: I know there must be a large amount of images being submitted on a daily basis and it seemed in the past it only took maybe 2-3 days before they were added. I have over 80 images pending (working on getting caught up lately) but many have been in waiting for over a week now with a few newer ones that did go live within a couple of days. What's the current schedule and are some just randomly being pulled and added even though there are older ones still waiting?

Sue, I can answer this one...as I've had the same question some time ago.

The PF programming randomly picks the images...no human intervention.

Hi Sue. I've gone through and released everything in the queue, holding back 3 images per submitter for tonight's newsletter.

These may take a bit to show up in PlantFiles, but you'll find your queue on your member page is now seriously whittled down. The discussion threads for these photos will all appear in the PF picture forum as though they were released yesterday. (Don't ask - it's a complicated and boring answer ;o)

The queued-up images are released nightly, usually 1 or 2 per submitter. We have had some heavy submissions lately - I think last night's release was around 140 images, with me releasing two per submitter.

The selection process for which images are released is somewhat randomized. To help me review them, I can specify the order (by botanical name or user), but then the system picks one from each person to include - I can override the system, but generally I let it pick the photos.
