Thanks Iris, "Westborne E.E.Hunt" actually turns a pearly-pink by the end of the day, it's becoming a interesting little flower. As for "Custard Candy", it was the first daylily I ever owned and will always be in my garden. I love how the edges are outlined in a darker yellow., it is one of my favorites and has always produced perfect flowers for me. I think you will be pleased if you decide to buy one.

Wow! I like the purple yarrow!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

That lily is really bright, I love it. Bet you can see that one from afar!

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Wow! Lots of great posts. Iris your 11:37 post on July 5 sure looks like moonbeam coreopsis. The one at 11:59 also looks like coreopsis (Tick seed?).

Pixie, Your Welcome, It sounds so pretty! Sometimes a picture just doesn't seem to capture the true beauty of certain DL's I think Westborne EE Hunt would be one of them! I'm definately going to have to look for both when I go out this weekend!! I have a few others on a list I have and I'm going to 2 different places where I usually get DL's so Sometimes it ends up being hard choices to make! LOL!

bigcityal, Wow, Now thats pretty, Nice job! I just love Dalhias, But just got past the point of trying to bring them in for the winter, Will always love seeing them through photos like this though so I can still enjoy the view of them!!

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

I stopped counting, but I think I am at about 70 now - getting closer to being out of control :)

Greenville, SC(Zone 7a)

70? WOW, Thats quite a bit of Dalhias!! What a nice show you must see through summer!!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Al,
The dahlia's are beautiful and what a nice neighbor you are. I think the house next door is for sale.

I have expanded my domain quite a bit recently. My wife always thinks her side looks better than ours, but most of it is low maintenance.

her side of the fence I keep is self seeding really

Oh Al, thats just lovely! Nice colors and it has a simple elegance about it.
What is the blue flower?

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

That's flax.
I leave the cosmos thick and they don't get nearly as big or floppy.

Greenville, SC(Zone 7a)

bigcityal, Very nice!

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

I've never had my cosmos reseed.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Anita - I have heard that before - as unbelievable as it is. They like bare soil, I deadhead mine and the birds eat a lot and they still come up like crazy.

I've been waiting for this one since September and it did not disappoint - here is Fragrant Angel

My 7 year old Grandaughter's Lily. She planted a bag of them 2 years ago in one of my beds, this is the first bloom this year.

Can't find the tag to this one but it could be "Daring Dilemma"

Can't find the tag to this one either, but I think it may be "Leda's Lover"

Thank you Andy

Beautiful, pixie. All of them. The celosia is practically florescent! I think we may need to see some wider garden shots :-) Like I want to pick up your 'Rue Royal' and put it right next to (possibly) 'Daring Dilemma'. But really I want to see how everything looks blooming together. They are all so beautiful.
