Ebay question again. Re:email from potential buyers

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

If someone emails you from Ebay and it is forwarded to you, can you reply from your email? My experience with Ebay is very limited. I have some things for sale there but I get duplicate, not the same questions from people like they are not getting my emails. Do you have to go TO the Ebay site to reply?

Thank you doll! I am getting second emails like people are not getting my replies. I'm not sure what is going on. I started thinking maybe I could not reply from my email.

Signed, someone that owes you hibiscus seeds. LOL I'll have fresh ones soon.

ROTFLOL. Oh you mean you had a blond moment......hehe. I cant tease my DD anymore because my haircoclour this time came from a bottle. guess what colour. So currently I can make the same excuse..........sorry but I have a "blond" moment

Maybe and I mean maybe its because they have so called "Spam trash bin" on their mail and many dont read trashmailbins. and on top of that have to high security settings on their mail.

If that fail go to their E-bay home and answere there and ask if they ever got your first mail.

It all depends on who their ISP is. Some have pretty strict filtering, like AOL and Earthlink. If they're not getting them through direct response, then yes, you are better off responding through Ebay, as they aren't filtered.

Thank you! I feel awful that some might have thought I did not respond. :( I answered all the emails through Ebay and let them know I had answered and gave them my email to contact me if they still had questions. I guess I will have to keep on top of the email through Ebay.

With the eBay email you can forward all correspondance to your own mailbox too so you can keep a clear record of your own. If it's something written to you then go to the My Messages, click on message and then the Forward option. If it's one of your replies you simply click the copy to my email checkbox.

The good thing about using eBay to do this is that you can see that the email has been through eBays own system and isn't a spoof. Admittedly I don't always use the eBay email system, especially if I'm notifying people of date posted (unless I know the email account probably won't accept anything from my own) but I do check that the mail is genuine.

Thank you Baa. I think I will keep emailing directly from Ebay. I hate that a few people did not get their replies. Hopefully emailing straight from Ebay will keep that from happening.

Well even if it doesn't reach their inbox, it should be there when they sign into eBay!

It's worth keeping your own record too because eBay only keeps them for about a month.

Thank you. :) I did set up a file in my email just for Ebay.
