Is anyone else having dmail problems?

I had demailed.... someone and mah whole post got ...changed around???? Now, I can't even see if my demails are being sent??? It states I have a new email, but I can't locate it on my DG?

It sounds like a system problem and you probably should post it over here: http://davesgarden.com/forums/f/dg/all/ since this is where Dave usually looks for things he needs to tend to.

I sent a dmail today and got a reply with no apparent problems. Hope you get straightened out.

Yes, it seems to be ok now... Im still curious on how two emails I sent got edited without my permission....

Ps: I still can't view the posted emails, I have sent to folks...but I can view mah home page "again" which wasn't possible for like a week.... C'est Le Vie "rolling mah eyeballs to the ceiling" LOL ;)

Are you clicking on "Home" tab to access your new messages, or trying to go through the mail link?

If you use folders in your dmail area, any new posts to existing correspondence may be filed away - making it hard to find if you're trying to access it via the mail link.

Usually, the Home Page that shows any New Emails... but I wanted to see if my emails, I had sent the other day was showing up under each persons name...and it doesn't show the emails, I have sent to each person.....


Grrrrrrr... Why is it... that this is the only Forum site, that im having problems with emails. I mean, my Home Page wasn't working and now it is.... Who fixed the problem? And why can't I view my sent out emails???

First things first.

When you have what appears to be a system problem, you should post it over at Dave's Forum. That is where he and the admin staff look for inquiries from us.

Either that, or click on the contact us button and address the problem over there.

You shouldn't be having this many problems getting your D-mail, or accessing them.

I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean. If you are trying to go to another user's member page and see the message you sent to them, you can't do that.

You can only see your sent/received messages from your own pages (you can reach your inbox via the "My Info" or "Mail" links.) Your inbox includes both your received and sent messages, and they remain in your main inbox unless you have set up folders to manage your dmails. If you are corresponding back and forth with someone, and you moved that correspondence to another folder, then you must go to that folder to access the message.


You are the only one who has reported this problem. As I suggested to you in our helpdesk correspondence, what you've described sounds like your browser cached (stored) an older version of your "Home" page. On other sites, you might not realize you're looking at a slightly outdated page, especially if their information doesn't change as dynamically as ours does.


Again, where are you looking for them?

Sometimes I forget to hit the "send" button and I can check my mail by going to the top of any page I'm on and clicking "Mail".
It takes awhile to figure computer sites out. I can't breeze thru any site like I can DG. Dave defineately has me spoiled.
