I need a "specimen" plant for this corner.
1. Don't want a tree or bush that gets too large.
2. It can't grow beyond the 4 x 4 space.
3. Don't want something to drop berries/fruit on the steps.
4. Gets direct sun...our 100+ degree sun in July and August!
5. Coldest weather is an occasional upper 20's.
6. Want a perennial.
7. Want a "wow" factor plant.
8. I have 2 other places in the front by the street where I'll perhaps repeat whatever I place here.
9. Forgot to say: I'm only doing ORANGE / orange red or PURPLE or shades of GREEN in all my outdoor spaces.
