Using DG photos on seed packets?

Are we allowed to use the pictures from the DG site on seed packets that we print out to use for trades?

Probably - but it's probably best to ask first, especially if you're using them for trades outside DG.

And if you do use someone's photo, you should leave their copyright watermark intact, unless they give you explicit permission to remove it.
