Hi Laura,

Great picture and it's nice to see what you look like. I think it was a good idea to start a new thread for pictures.

Hey, Jazz!! If you get tired of that jacket, send it to me. Nice photo too!!

Hi Laura,
Your kidlet is a good photographer. Nice to see you!
I don't have many photos of myself included in the picture. I'm always the one taking the photo's.. LOL
Here is a shot of two DG Members. Evert & GardenGuyKin.
Photo was taken just after we had Coffee & Plenty of Finnish Pastries. Both of us are smiling, must be the SUGAR and Caffeine.

Hope we have a bunch of people joining in. It's so nice to put a face to the DG Name.

ThanKs Sherry.. (I love that jacket too!)

GardenGuyKin, I would be grinning too if I had just had coffee and Finnish Pastries! hmm.. that reminds me... ::heading to the kitchen:::

Great pictures! I sure enjoy seeing everyone, and putting a name to a face is wonderful.

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

This was taken a few days ago and naturally I'm holding one of my "babies", getting ready to give it a bath. The Bullies don't care that I wear my shirts inside out so the tags won't bug me, but I forgot and wore one like that to the grocery the other day. A very elderly lady scared the fire out of me when she whispered in my ear "your shirt is inside out" when I tried to explain, she started looking in her purse for her scissors, to cut the tag out. lol lol

The palm tree is on my list of things to do, needs to be trimmed and repotted in the worst way, but my brugs come first.

O my gosh! I thought Clare's pic in Kins thread was the cutest thing I ever saw. Your pic Judy is right up there with hers .... absolutely adorable! Someday we should have a most adorable pic contest :)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hi Judy, my friend. I know you like your brugs, but I'd bet those Bullies would come before them if need be. Good to see you again.

Clinton, CT(Zone 6b)

Oh, Judy what an adorable little guy...or is it girl? Just TOO cute... what's the name of the little cutie??

Diane Krny

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

His name is Scooter, he's curious, but laidback and kinda shy. Not at all like Bessie Smith the Brug tag snatcher. lol lol

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

JUDY! Love your picture .

Springfield, OH(Zone 5b)

LOL Ohio! I love you picture! I found myself trying to scope your yard and gardens. (it's definately too late for me!) Great smile.

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Judy...now I can post a photo of me in work clothes...you have given me confidence. My plant s don't care if they are rightsideout, old or new or clean!!! My faves are the oldest most threadbare AND stained!

AlohaHoya, so OK where is your picture!!!

If I waited until I was dressed-up with my hair fixed and make-up applied, I wouldn't be able to post a picture for months, we're too busy right now to take time out for much. We're up at 5AM and finally sit down around 8 PM most nights. My breaks are spent bouncing through DG.

We sold a house in Memphis and moved the contents up to the country, I have a path through all the boxes but am determined to go through each one to decide what to keep, throw away or give away. It's a pleasure to be able to give something to a person who will truly appreciate it.

In the middle of all this, my father had a stroke, then a few days later died, 4/29/2006. Naturally we were greatly impacted both emotionally and physically.

I managed to go through enough boxes so that I was able to take a van load of STUFF to the Tupelo, MS RU and everyone took something home, everything from ladder back chairs, to antique cookware, to junk. lol lol

So post a picture of yourself regardless of if you are looking your best or not, and be proud you are brave enough to do so, for truly life is short and we never know what tomorrow will bring.

Judy

Jazzpumpkin,

Either your picture or my posting "stopped" this thread.... I want to think it was your picture!!! lol lol

Maybe people didn't know how to respond to either of us, so I'll respond to your picture... that is truly the worse face I've seen anyone make at a camera. You were some kind of brave (not to mention feeling secure in who you are) to post it and I'm proud of you for doing so!!

Judy

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Oh my gosh, that is a funny picture. Capturing shots like that makes your daughter a great photographer. LOL!

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Great pictures!!
Its so great to see you again Judy! I sure want to love on your little man there.. so sweet.
And Jazz.. lol that reminds me of when we sing "I'm a little teapot".

Springfield, OH(Zone 5b)

(((((Judy))))) Hugs for you at this time.

As for the picture.. I believe that she wanted to take it and I struck a "superior" pose since I was so dolled up and respectable looking! lol That is usually how I run aorund the house in the morning..esp the winter.. So now you know...(grin)

Summerville, SC(Zone 8a)

Ok .. this is scary .. (do i really look like this?) eek!

Oh Laura, your red suede jacket is too hot!! What fun Laura, you could start a whole new fad, before and after pics. Though some of us sadly look the same before and after. LOL.

Hey X................ good to see you lady!

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

x.... there are many people who wish they looked so GOOD!!!!

Nice to put a face with the postings.

Judy

Summerville, SC(Zone 8a)

Thanks Judy .. I still can't get over the fact that I'm 55 .. the good thing though is I can order off the Senior menu now and get cheap seats at the movies. LOL.

X

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh my God....is 55 considered a senior citizen? OUCH!!

(Mary) Poway, CA(Zone 10a)

What really hurts is the first time someone offers you the senior special and you didn't ask for it. Sob! I still feel like 25 until I look in the mirror. Well, I wouldn't want to miss most of the memories made, so I'll just grin and bear it.

Summerville, SC(Zone 8a)

It seems like a cruel joke that life plays upon us. My brain has never been better, but my body just can't keep up. Gravity is definitly winning the war!

Springfield, OH(Zone 5b)

Hey X.. Nice pic.. but I know what you mean.. sometimes when I pictures of myself I think.. Who's the old chick? AH well.. I think you look awesome for 55 I would have never guessed it!

Kell... Thank you thank you.. I figured if I posted that picture I would never again hesitate to post a picture of myself.. Its like jumping into the deep end! LOL

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

I think it is great that another thread was started for pictures. It is wonderful seeing everyone post pictures regardless of how they are dressed or what they are doing and even those that are clowing around. It is also nice to put a face with a name.

Summerville, SC(Zone 8a)

Right on Jazz .. it occurs to me that I don't really see myself when I look in the mirror in the morning ..I'm just make sure the buttons on my shirt are right and my hair looks relatively tame .. After seeing my self portrait, I ran to the mirror and said yeah .. I look like that! LOL.

It is really nice to put faces to the names.

Ok, where are all the pictures, so we have a bunch of scaredy cats here LOL

I'll bite,

here's a recent photo and my daughter would kill me if she knew I posted her picture on the internet for the whole world to see.

She just graduated from high school and is now in Nicaragara, and going off to college just down the road this fall. They grow up fast. Means we're getting old. Or should I speak formyself.

Judy

Ocean Springs, MS(Zone 9a)

Kathy Ann...that is a beautiful photo of both you and your daughter. I know you are proud of her!

All of the photos are great. I guess I am partially scaredy cat...but the other part is that I am usually the one behind the camera around here.

I will see what I can find.

Here is a picture of my Hubby, Ken, my oldest son Jeff, and proud mama. This picture was taken the day we had to carry him to Norfolk Va. He was deployed to the gulf.
