Hee hee.. :) Well, I'm farther north than all of you most certainly and most certainly a Yankee. :) It's funny that I stumbled on this thread since my husband's brother (Yankee) and his wife (Louisiana) are coming to Michigan for Christmas.

My kids will say things like: "Aunt Debbie, will you say 'pink'?" or ask her if she's "fixin' to do something" and then they laugh hysterically. Not as hysterically as she laughs when we go out to eat and order "pop" or my brother says, "Youse guys".
