LOVE the new journal feature that shows thumbnails!

I just wanted to thank you for adding the feature in journals that shows a photo of the plant on the main list page. It is wonderful. I'd been making a notation as to the color/form of plants I didn't know the name to, and now I can just see a picture.

Well it's excellent! Thank you both.
Is there a way to change which photo shows up as the thumbnail? Now that the feature is in effect I will make sure the first photo is what I want, but a couple on my list are 'junk' photos that just happened to be the first photo I posted in an entry. So I scroll down and see pretty flower, pretty flower, photo of roots, pretty flower....I tried posting a 'back dated' post with a picture of a flower, but I'm still seeing roots. Any fix for it?
If not, I'm still very pleased.

Regarding sorting; I had to make a decision which picture to use for the thumbnail and in cases where there are multiple pictures, it tries to pick the very last picture you posted to the entry (figuring that the first picture is seed and the last is the bloom) :)

Hi Dave, the journal is so great it is being used for more than plants even though it is obvious that is its best use. I'm using one category for birds and another for other kinds of creatures. I love the new thumbnail feature! It just made the already fabulous journal better! Thank you very much!

Hmm, All of my thumbnails are the first photo I posted to each thread. On the entry with the photo of just roots showing, I've posted a photo of the flower after the photo of the roots, and then I backdated a post to put a flower photo before the photo of the roots, but the root photo is still showing.
Just want to say that I absolutely love Daves Garden. Thank you for all the time and energy you put into it. It's the greatest. I am so glad I found it.

Wow, this is very cool. I love the journal feature too. Tried for a long time to organize my info and pictures in a format that was workable and all on one site and could never come up with anything that I really liked. This is perfect. I am using it for all my hostas and it is wonderful Thanks Dave
