Changing my username :)

Springboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Hello, there :)

I think I remember reading a while back when Makshi changed her name that Dave would allow a one time name change. Is this right??? Well, I moved into a new house 2 years ago with absolutely zero shade. Therefore, I have absolutely zero hostas. I have to continually explained this to new folks I meet on DG. Although this isn't really a major inconvenience to me, I think I'd prefer to change my username and just be done with it. I'd like to pick a name that doesn't highlight hostas per se. Although I still wanna hug em, I can't grow em.

My DH's name is Sam and I think the name SalmonMe (say it aloud) is really cute. Could I please change my DG name to SalmonMe?

Thanks!

You're now officially "SalmonMe" ;o)

Woah! That was really fast :) Don't you like it? Cute, huh?

Okay-- a bit corny -- and I'll still have to answer questions ;)

Thanks!

Cool name! But....what was your name before?

Joan, she was hugahosta.

I happened to see the request as I was getting ready to log off for the night (we had our seniors' graduation banquet at church tonight, so I was releasing PlantFiles pictures a little later than usual.)

That alarm clock goes off mighty early tomorrow (mom has to get up and hang the sun in the sky for everyone else to wake up ;o) so I'm scooting off to bed now - g'nite!

LOL -- hugahosta :)

Guess I should try to spread the word, huh? I noticed that my name automatically changed on threads. There are going to be some confused folks out there!

Maybe I'll post over in garden talk :)

Ah, yes! Now I make the connection. LOL Yeah, you might want to spread the word so everyone knows.

We had our last high school graduation today. I'm feeling a little blue tonight and already noticing the empty nest syndrome starting in.

Jacci,

You could dmail Pirl. She lives in NY and has a BEAUTIFUL garden and grows hostas for fun but also has an outlet to sell them to her nursery friend. She said she grows them in FULL SUN! Yep. That's right. Incredible. You might could check with her on tips.
