Yeah that was cute. However, I got the nicest card from DS this MD, it essentially said that he thought when he was little I was the best mom, and then inside, it said some things never change, I am grown now, and you are still the best mom. That was so sweet.

I do the humorous ones for birthdays, now that siblings are getting to 60's.

My son (Kevin) always gives me the very touching cards. I got back at him (but I do love the cards and keep them . . . and the envelopes).

I played a very old song, most of you probably never heard of, by a wonderful English singer who was very popular in WW ll - Vera Lynn. She's still alive at 89 and I have her CD's. The song is, "My Son, My Son" and it drew quite a few tears for both me and Kevin.
