Watched threads show as having new posts when there are none

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

This afternoon, I notice that once I post to any of my watched threads, they keep coming up as having new posts on them even when mine is the last one there. I've tried shift-refresh to load my page fresh, but it still happens. Is this happening to anyone else today?

I've noticed it happening for quite awhile now. Maybe since the server addition? I've been thinking it was Lion's fault, or is it Lamb? King! I think it's king.

That shouldn't be happening anymore...

It just quit shortly after I posted this. So far so good! :)

Yes, I checked in here at 4:16 and it was fixed, now it's back at not refreshing again.

It had quit briefly, but it's doing it again. I posted on another thread and it said someone else had posted in the meantime. Yet no one had, and the thread now shows in my watched threads as having new activity.

Okay, now it should be fixed. :)

Good now Dave, Thanks,

I posted on the eon marker coop thread and it still shows up in my watched threads, even though there's no new posts. I've refreshed it several times too.

My watched threads are still coming up new as well.

Mine just finally went away.

It's a strange thing but the program that I have written to update that part of the site keeps "stopping" without warning. I'm still working on it.

But now this one is still hanging on.

I also noticed when I last posted to this thread, after I posted it said someone had posted before me, but when I looked, there had been no new posts. I had read princess yfs's post before posting mine.

Getting error messages that:

"new post has been made while you were typing"

and

that a new post has been made to one of my threads, checking it and seeing it was just my last reply.

Thanks Dave for trying to keep on top of fixing all this! So glad you are so dedicated to this site even with all your other endeavors!

The reboot was probably coincidental since it's something on the DG's server side. A shift-refresh would clear anything up at your PC's end of things.

Kim... i do not know if it was coincidental cuz i tried refresh and still got the same result. but when i rebooted, all is fine and dandy. never had any problem since after the reboot.
