What is this?

How about cuphea? I have bat face and bunny ear. I like bunny ear the best and it would look good w/ your crinnadonna.

I have clerodenerum ugandanese & red and blue Iochroma rooted in pots....

I have clerodenerum ugandanese in the back...I love it. Never thought about it for the front. But the color would be good...we're talking shade here. Here's another view.
I'm thinking that datura for the front right in above shot. Would get west sun there.

Shasta daisies come to mind in small numbers...I can just see pulling nutgrass and whatever that blue thing is from in it. nightmare. I can put native columbines...but I got enough yellow , orange in the back.

What color is bunny ear? I will take that anyway, never met a cuphea I didn't like.

That poor brown thing to the right is an autumn sage.

edited to add: and a smallish red oak tree to the right I gotta get out of there some how. That's not going to be easy either.

I may have to pull my autumn sage and replant later; seem to be a favorite of mealy bugs and I am having the hardest time getting rid of them!

Also, if it's full sun you could use Belinda's Dream; pink rose, very full flower. I have had mine for 1 year and love it.

pink and purple...perfect. I used to have Belinda's dream out there....it did pretty good, despite the shade. I will no longer grow roses and bougies--I hate weeding around thorns.

I'm thinking maybe these white mums CJ was kind enough to donate after my shameless begging at the RU...lol...Clara Curtis. Think they will bloom well with semi-shade? And notice they are still in pots from the RU, but thriving in the shade. I'm watering real good to get out there and "tackle" the job. I'm watering like crazy now and watered for an hour and a half late last night. Figure, if nothing else, will relieve a lot of "work" stress...and look better.

Debbie the blue flwered pest plant that you don't like is Erect day flower,
Commelina erecta, it can be very pretty, but it has a habit of comming up in a lot of places. I have it too, but I just live with it, the flowers are really neat in the morning.
I sent your Datura with Mary Lee, but I don't know if she will be able to deliver it.
Josephine.

Josephine-I can come get it from her--got any suggestions and help here on this bed?
I need help. Think that desert willow you gave me would look good where all that ragweed is in the first shot (far left)?
Deb

I think it would look great, just be sure that it has enough head room, it is not a big tree, but a tree nevertheless. Some Turk's cap might look good there too.
I guess you need to dmail Mary Lee and see what is convenient fot her.
If you do go, I sent 2 for Maggiemoo also, maybe you could pick those up for her since she lives in Houston too.

Hey Debbie,
I have some more of those mums if you'd like them. They're pink, not white. And they are a ground cover.
Found the thread. Now what?

Sylvia, it is Texas Star Hibiscus, Hibiscus coccineus. Just wait till it blooms it will knock your socks off.

Thanks Josephine!
Look at what I just did Lorapetulum and one pink climbing rose which I will give Marylee if it works. Now I got to run up the street and get some more of that Vitex! ;)
