Good day gardeners! Last night I had a dream that I was at a local nursery, talking to another customer, only to find out it was someone I new at DG. That's all that I remember from the dream but it took me a while to realize that it didn't really happen!
Coffee Break!!
Probably was me, just about had you talked into buying that $300 Japanese Maple too.
One thing I rember was that it was a woman. What are telling me?
I present myself in many forms to perform my deeds - woman, dog , piece of pizza - whatever it takes.
The shaman gardener!
You were cute!
bigcityal - you paid how much for the Japanese Maple? They grow all over my back yard and I pull them out before they take over. I'd pot one up for you for half the price you paid. :) Dave47 - you aren't taking that sleeping medication that causes people to drive cars and eat in their sleep - are you? You know that sleep shopping can cause major credit problems.
No Yankeecat. I thought I was OK. Al scared me though.
Yank - no I bought a cheap one, but I do get a kick out of the 're'landscaping shows that always add the most expensive one they can find to their project.
she was cute??? must have been me!
and if you decide to do any shopping in your sleep - feel free to buy lot's of stuff for us!!
Will do dear.
Our daughter's Commencement is tomorrow morning. We will be parents of a high school kid.
High School...where did all the time go???
Well, you were only 14 when we got married!
that would explain it
How much does clear thinking cost??
If you are truly thinking clear there is no cost.
darn!
How am I supposed to know if its a reasonable price? I can't think clearly!!!
Well, I see they have space to rent - is that brain space?
Travel for gravel?
This is the nice one around here. There is a larger one that is 2" Mississippi pebble - yikes.
The weeping cherry growing on the ground always bugs me when I drive by this one.
Why don't you just adopt that garden just like you do your neighbors?
OH MY GOD....that is horrible. it looks like a gas station. what were they thinking. i have never seen anything like that in my life. do people do that a lot by you? guess i'm lucky to live in the country.... up here in the sticks we use gravel for driveways and thats about it.
Who lives in a home like that???? Thoughts come to mind, terrorists, relatives of the Munsters, zombies...
I was thinking lazy nonconformists ?
once I'm ready for a divorce I'll bring that up with the Mrs. "honey - no more mowing or watering the lawn - just think of all the free time I'll have"
and how much trouble you'll have time to get into!!!
No - I would spend that time complaining about my neighbors and the government.
HMM..would we see your picture in the paper or perhaps posted in the Post Office???
Are you saying people with gravel lawns are felons?
I never said that...lot's of people have their pictures posted...people running for office
i am barefoot in my yard from may to september. that gravel would kill me. not to mention all of the kids playing in my yard. imagine sliding into home plate on that. i would need to buy stock in band-aids.
and a bigger homeowner's policy for personal injury!
here's something to spit your coffee out over

Very funny. The Onion strikes again.
too funny. THAT'S what I need ;O))
That was hysterical.
I thought I was the only New Englander reading the Onion. I went to school at UW.
I dug way back to find this thread! I wanted to share some good personal news. Friday, I received my state association's career achievement award. I feel very blessed.
My wife surprised me by bringing my 2 younger children. (My 7 year old thought it was great that he got out of math to attend) It's a good life.
