SQL/PHP ERROR

This is the 1st time that I have been able to access the site since some time in the early AM. I have been getting the following Error msg:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Host 'lion' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' in /www/garden/inc/db/db_master.php on line 77

Database error: connect to MySQL failed.
MySQL Error: ()
Session halted.


It seems to be cleared up now, but just in case, I wanted to let you know.

Exact same thing happened to me.

I just only able to get on about 10 minutes ago, due to the same problem :(

It does seem to be fixed now. I posted this just in case - was afraid my next screen refresh might return me to the error screen. Posted just in case this was my only chance to send out an S.O.S.! lol.

Same thing was happening to me. Glad I'm back on now........thought I was gonna die there for a minute...............I NEED my DG fix every day!! LOL

I know! I get up in the morning, get my coffee, and sit down to check Daves. Gosh, I'd rather go without my cigarettes LOL

You guys wait until MORNING, to check DG? When my dog wakes me up in the early AM because he needs to go outside...I have to sneak a quick check before I go back to sleep. lol

Yeah, I was going thru withdrawals! First I thought it was my laptop. But no, the PC did the same thing. Then I came into work (ugh) and found it here too, so I knew it wasn't just me. Glad we're back up.

Oh I saw that. :) I thought about it, but just too pricey for me right now (I have a new African Violet addiction, if DH knew what I have spent in the past month, I'd be single LOL)

I wait til morning. No pets here, so don't have that to wake me up. I have discovered that to get to bed at night, I have to turn the computer off between 9 and 10 PM and go into the bedroom with DH (he gets up at 3 AM to go to work) cause if I stay up I lose track of time here at Daves and I'm still up when he gets up for workLOL Not good, when you get up at 6:30 to get kids off to school :)

FYI-they had pretty bad weather in Waco/College Station area this morning...not sure where Dave's server is located but that could have been the problem. I have seen that once before, about a month ago. Dave's has really undergone tremendous growth and a few "glitches" are to be expected. After meeting him at the TX RU; I know how dedicated he, Trish, Terry, and all the folks working at and for Dave's, really are.

It's been raining here all day, temperature is around 60* can't go outside and do anything, AND haven't been able to get on my favorite Gardening Website. I am in a bad way I have been having withdraws all morning. Thanks a bunch for getting this fixed. It is going to take me a while to settle down and start relaxing. I was thinking terrible things. I thought Dave had send me to Disney Land, without even telling me he was going to do it. Thank you Dave for getting this fixed.

LOL @ Disney, Linda! I even had that fleeting thought too.....but just couldn't recall what I had done that would send me on that trip!

My scalp is sore from me scratching it so much this morning trying to figure out what I had done.

I remember once reading a reply from Dave that he wouldn't send someone to Disney land without first telling them. But I thought maybe he was getting sneaky.

Whew, that was rough! Thank goodness we're back on now!

I had send Dave a regular e-mail with a picture of what was showing on my screen, just incase he wasn't aware of it. I wonder how many e-mails he got?

Well, it's bright and sunny here, BUT I still can't work in the garden because it's 1 million degrees in the sun! Argh! Have to wait until late afternoon to go out there.

Same thing happened to me this morning. Glad it cleared up. Like to know what to do next time as I was unable to clear it myself.

"Lion" is the name of one of the servers, so it must have had a glitch. Or someone tripped over the cord and unplugged it again. Either way, I'm glad it is fixed now. :-)

I thought this error was just MY computer. We were having a storm when the power kicked out and I was in the MIDDLE of my DG fix. LOL. When I got it back up I kept getting the error message! I thought, "Oh no.....I didn't log out properly and now I can't get in!?!" My DH asked if I neglected to pay my subscription. LOL. SOOO glad it wasn't just my computer and this weather. =)

LOL, Scutler! No I don't wait till morning to get on DG.......any time is DG time! I was on till about 12:30am then woke up at 5:30am having an allergy attack and couldn't sleep, sooooo more DG time! LOL Now that we're back from a bday party, it's DG time again! Me addicted?? No way!! ;o)

I left the house about 3:15 and I still was not able to get on. Boy, was I getting upset. All day and no DG.....auugh!!!!

This same thing happened to me this morning. After 1 hr. of trying to figure out what was going on I gave up. I see it's back to normal this evening.

The error msg. if I was reading it correctly originated from there. I'm not that computer savvy but that much I could understand.

Oh that's terrible, Kin!! Traitor!! LOL At least you can remember what you did! Hmmm......what did I do this morning?? Oh yeah, took my kids to a party. DUH! ;o)

I got the same error message...mine last about 4 hrs...i was like shaking and having a hard to breathing cause i could not get into daves....hubby "almost" called 911....LMBO
