Error message for t-shirts etc

Bureau County, IL(Zone 5a)

I was looking to see how much a t-shirt was, clicked on add to cart, and got this message

404 Not Found
The requested URL /store/4 was not found on this server.

Apache/1.3.34 Server at davesgarden.com Port 80

I also clicked on the mug to see what if it would go thru and got the same message.

Are you browsing with Javascript turned on? That's required for using the cart system.

No, Dave. I have javascript currently forbidden. Usually a place tells me I need to have java script enabled, not there, huh? I'll slink back on over....thank you for answering what was your stupidest question of the day! I should win a prize or something, ya think?

Terry

:-)

I'll add a note about JavaScript being enabled.

JS is a key element in some web technologies that I am beginning to use more and more. There may come a time when JS will be needed to use DG to its fullest potential. If you are concerned about security, just install Firefox. :-)

I'm using firefox. I didn't know any other browser had the option of java script on and off (but really, what do I know?). My problem is when I do searches (not here), a lot of the times I come up with blank pages. Ya just can't even shop without JS being on :o) Which reminds me...I know I'm a tight wad, but a t-shirt is 12 dollars....WOW! Great deal....but is it really 9 bucks for shipping?? I know, I'm complaining.....I'll slink away again.....

Terry

There was a bug in the system for a while in that it was charging $9 for shipping every time. The bug was fixed early this morning so you should be ready to go.

Mind if I ask a question since the subject was brought up here?

Dave, how is Firefox better at security than IE?

The US dept. of homeland security recommended firefox above IE because of repeated software bugs in IE that allow users to get viruses and trojan, etc, far more easily than other browsers.

Thanks Dave :o)

Thank you, Dave. I've tried Firefox and, well, let's just say I'm not one that deals with changes easily. LOL ;o)
