As far as I know the backdoor has always just been typing in the address that shows in the address bar when the link isn't on the homepage. It's the same address that shows when you click on the link. Go find Badseed and ask her for sure, she'll know for certain!

DH is a little under the weather & having a nap now, but I probably will not be back later tonight.... It's our anniversary! :-)

In celebration, we're getting plowed tomorrow! LOL Actually, "Digger Dick" will be here in the afternoon with his tractor & tiller... oooh, you say, *that* kind of plowed! I've got 10 yards of compost on the way tomorrow, too. You folks understand how I can be excited about this... my neighbor just shakes her head at my enthusiasm for horse poop.

Since the house next door is on the market, I figured this was the year to plow up a strip along the neighbor's fence... the new neighbors will just think there has always been a garden there, and the old neighbors won't care one way or the other. Between that, the new "tropicals" area I'm putting into the bed by the deck, and the $ I want to spend to electrify & frame part of the basement to set up a shop.... the formal herb garden plan has been delayed yet another year! But that will let me use that 10x12 ft. bed for sweet peppers this year, so "it's all good!"

Glad to hear your season is off to such a roaring start, Critter :) I'm sure that'll keep you busy with your hands in the mud, and having your hands in the mud will keep you smilin'! :)

I have to get going soon, too... I hope chat gets up soon! :)

Just stopped on to check on a row of veggies to see what was in it. Going back out to plant some yard long beans.
Put up a bunch of fence to keep deer out of my beets.

leaving all the obvious comments about plowing by Digger Dick by the wayside. I haven't had my glass of wine yet, and so I can't plead impared judgement .

I've had a lot fewer problems with deer and rabbits since I stopped growing veggies. I sure miss fresh zucchini and green beans in the summer though!

The beets are inside a high tunnel with small mesh wire all the way to the ground. I could keep chickens in it!

I got a few more things planted and a bunchmore weed grass pulled today.

Speaking of wine-- we have a new restraunt in town. Called Blackbeards Cafe & Ruhm Tavern. The owner is from the Caymen Islands, owns most of the islands, I think. We went there Sat. night. They gave a complimentary glass of red wine called "Sangria" It was great.
Friday night I had a Oven roasted game hen with fresh green beans. Only $13.50, also a nice salad with a sensational dressing. Can't remember the name. Lots of the food is things from the islands.

excellent!! My sister market gardens and has several Saratoga Springs and New York City restaurants on her list of customers. It tickles her how some of the chef's rave over her veggies.
