PlantFiles > Journal

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

Several times now I've run into a problem creating a new entry in my Journal from PlantFiles. I have a wish-list and also use this feature to enter items which are listed in PlantFiles for reference.

I can place these in the Journal I created. The system creates a numbered entry and I can place it, move it, etc. But when I try the same thing to place it in the journal indicated as "Default", I get an error. I tried it just now and the system error now also prevents me from accessing my Journal.

Edited to add the error reference:

Database error: Invalid SQL:
MySQL Error: 1030 (Got error 127 from storage engine)
Session halted.

My solution is to not place them in default, but only in the created one (Seeds and Plants, 2006, in my particular case) and then move them to the default, which works. But I thought I'd draw the problem to your attention. I love this feature and use it a lot. In fact, since I figured out how to use the Journal feature, it has become my main record-keeping method.

Regards to the team!

andy,

Those SQL errors have cropped up a few times over the past couple days and it's an elusive error. I'm trying different things to prevent that from happening.

Could you give it a try now and let me know if it's working?

Wow, I'm impressed,,, that is quick action Dave...

I just tried it and again the system did not give an RID, but I *was* able to get into the main journal page. Since there was no RID, I doubt if the reference was added as a new record.

Thanks for your attention to this!

I spent a lot of time on my journals today. I find it easiest to add a PlantFiles reference to my current journal and then move it if necessary to the 'default' journal. This method creates a new RID and it becomes mine to alter as appropriate.
