Dave - Email problem

Dave,

I keep getting the following error when I try to send a D-mail. Is this happening to just me?

MySQL Error: 1062 (Duplicate entry '440102' for key 1)
Session halted.

Dave, am having Dmail problems today. :)
I received the following error when trying to read a Dmail.
Database error: Invalid SQL:
MySQL Error: 145 (Table './gardening/p_content' is marked as crashed and should be repaired)
Session halted.

Thought all this info might help. I am not complaining or finding fault. Once again, thanks for everything!

Dave, I can read this just fine. Haven't received anymore Dmails today so don't know if I'm still having trouble with that. :)

After replying to this thread, I realized I had a Dmail from tf so went over to read and reply. When I hit send ... I received the following error.

Cannot find server

The page cannot be displayed

The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser
settings.

I opened a new window so I could add this info without closing my Dmail and kept getting this same error when trying to open the DG cite both by typing in the name and using the page saved in my favorites. I hope this helps.

I got an email yesterday in my regular email letting me know I had a d-mail from a member. When I followed the link, there was no message, only a subject line.

Why would I get a message in my email about d-mail?

Laura, if the dmail was sent over 48 hours ago, and you didn't see it (so you didn't open it), our system sends out one reminder to let you know you have a new message waiting.

Unfortunately, with the server problems we've had, several messages that were sent never arrived in the recipients' inboxes. But the system *thinks* they were successfully delivered, so you're getting reminders about non-existent messages.

I don't think I've gone more than 10 hours without looking at DG, usually more like every few hours, since joining! lol

Laura, I'm in the process of d-mailing you. I hope it shows up. I read this thread and realized you were probably talking about my d-mail. I went to resend it, but it isn't there and then I found that you had replied to me. Your reply wasn't showing up on my homepage that I had a d-mail.

Yes, now that I checked, there is, but it wasn't alerted on my homepage. You now should have d-mail!

Thanks for fixing my Dmail. I just received some and everything's all cleared up. :) All's right with the world again!! LOL

My d-mail still isn't showing up on my homepage.

I don't mean to be whiny, but any ideas about my d-mail?

I just attempted to save an unfinished d-mail as a draft. When I returned to it, it shows that I have a draft, with topic and recipient, but I can't open it to finish the durn thing off and send it! Man, I don't want to have to try to rewirite it! Any thoughts?

What exactly is the problem with your d-mail? Give me specifics and I will take care of it.

Well, I don't have any d-mail now, but when I did, it wasn't showing up on my homepage that I had any. I have checked my preferences and I still have it in column one position one.

Right, it only shows up when you have new dmail. Try going into one dmail, mark it as unread, and then go to your homepage and it should then show up.

I just had a thought that maybe it's just that one d-mail, so I went in and marked a few others as unread.........they are all showing up on my homepage......it's just that one d-mail that won't.

mgh, I'll log in as you and take a look. Please don't go into your dmail until I tell you to.

Yep, mine was doing the same thing (mgh and I were just not fully connecting, but now the worm has turned) but it's ok now. Thanks, Dave. I was feeling lonely not getting any dmails.
