All of my photos disappeared

All of the photos that I posted today have now disappeared. They were there earlier but are now gone. What happened to them?

This has happened to me too. Also, I noticed lots of other pix have disappeared all over DG.

I wonder if they will "come back" or if we have to re-post all of them.

Mine too, probably has to do with changing the servers, hopefully they'll come back.

I wish Dave would let us know if we are going to have to post them again or if the new server will fix it.

I know. I do not want to have to post all of them again, but I will if I have to. I'm hoping that Dave will come along with his magical cure and fix them for me. LOL

Several have popped in and out all day, sometimes they are gone and later they reappear so I am sure you won't have to resubmit them, just a hic-cup with the new server set up today.

I can't see any of the recent pictures.

Mine also...went to ID thread and couldn't see anything!

alot of the pics for me not showing are in the iris forums still. i just get a x box thingy as of this morning.

My pictures aren't there either........but my Today's Dave's Garden Newsletter is also drawing a blank!!!

Poor Dave....we are so spoiled by all the great things we have here on DG that we all go into panic mode when anything disturbs our world! This is a family saying that discribes upset GD'ers:

Guys, I suspect Dave had a very long day in "Big D" yesterday, and a long roadtrip to and fro.

Let's give him some "breathing room" so he can get everything sorted out. Once he's had a chance to do that, then you can report anything else that still isn't working correctly.

I was wondering what was up, too, with photos, but decided to check in on this forum and now I get it!!

I think a lot of people don't think to check this forum, though.....I just happened to click on it out of curiousity one day, and realized that this was where all the information was whenever there were problems.

Is there any way for Admin to place a little 'blurb' explaining the problems at the top of each forum page?
(I totally understand if that's 'easier said than done'!!)

Nan, I was thinking the same thing! A notice at the head of each forum.

There are 191 forums and it would probably require a manual note posted to each one. Dave mentioned the problems should resolve themselves in very short order. I doubt I could get all the notes posted before it's a non-issue, and I'd have to go back through and take 'em all back down. (That definitely falls into the "easier said than done" category ;o)

Your home page says there are 191 - but that number *may* include forums that are accessible only by admins and moderators. (Our helpdesks function like forums, except our replies are sent as emails; and we have a few other admin-only and moderator-only forums in addition to the two helpdesks.)

Busy, busy and busy! We got the kids a girl and boy bunny for Easter. Chickens are next. I accidentally won a landscape customer too. How's that? LOL

Sounds like EVERYbody (errrr, maybe everyBUNNY ????) is busy - or will be soon.

And yes, I *do* know what two bunnies mean - quite soon you'll have lots and lots of rabbit berries to fertilize with!

Hopefully we have a month before they start umm, acting like bunnies? LOL The seller told us usually around 6 months they get frisky then every month after that! Oh my! And I am not crazy. If I have to feed them, you can bet I am getting something back from them. I am all about the berries!

I made my husband laugh pretty hard. After the neighbor asked me to do his front gardens and left, I looked at my husband and said "Build it and they will come....". He liked that. Another neighbor stopped today to say hi and offer compliments. It sure doesn't take much to thrill these people. LOL Seriously, I am thrilled to find nice neighbors! I'd be dangerous with a dirt budget!
