can't upload a picture

I uploaded some pics yesterday. Took forever, but they went through. I'm assuming because they are large. Today I can't upload one. Here's the thread

Angie, I just tested two photos - here and the forum you linked to - both uploaded the image in a few seconds (a little slow, but nothing out of the ordinary.) Have you tried reducing the images to under 800 x 600 pixels, or saving them as .jpg files instead of bigger .gifs?

I just tried to send a Dmail to 'gumlla' with a picture. The message would say that it had been sent but when I went back to my mailbox, it didn't show up in the string of Dmails. I then sent it again, then again, the same thing. It said the mail was sent, but I never saw it in my mail. I don't know if he received it three times or not.
He was interested in closeups of some coleus that I had just planted and I was sending pictures.
