Hi, everybody-- I have been lurking and enjoying all the beautiful bulb flowers...wishing for something to show off from my garden...

Sunny and warm now and my garden is finally coming alive now and I have a few daff pics to add to the thread (finally!!!) and even a few tulips.

This is my white daffodil mixture from Scheepers...we have made some very nice spring bouquets with these. Lots of fun...

And my 'thalias' underneath the dogwood...

and this was the bouquet for the easter table...I have kept this bouquet going for weeks--just refreshing and replacing the daffs when needed. Lots of fun, too.

Love the worm's eye view Andy! You don't have slugs? You will have much more fun with your camera yet!

Critter your Little Beauty tulips are really little beauties!

jmorth, Kaydee & Ice Wings, very nice!

tabasco you have some lovely double daffs there! Funny how some bulbs bloom at the same time wherever they are (except Todds!), my Thalia are in full bloom now. The Jetfire still going strong too, they are a worthy addition to anyone's garden.

My Trillium kurabayashi has fully opened, the leaves seem smaller this year but better marked, they did start in a pot last year. I think I may have a few seedlings too! I forgot to check for seeds, and when I did there was nothing but dead stems. I have several strange long 2 leaved seedlings all around it.

See the long leaves, one just coming at the right, then a bigger one, one at the left. there are a few more around the plant, I don't think they are anything else than the trillium

Wallaby, Oh I have slugs. It's too early for them here.
Love the Trillium. Good of you to post pics of the seedlings. So many things get pulled up as weeds without realizing what they really are.

JMorth, I like those Ice Wings. Never saw them before.

kb the white ones you've had forever look like N poeticus recurvus, the original old variety. The petals on the one in front almost look like N p Ornatus but the cup doesn't. I took a pic of some I have that were around and started to flower a couple of years ago, not sure where they came from but they are growing where I put soil dug from the water drain, around the tree and in the hosta bed. Mine look to have very recurved petals but are just opening. Will post a pic when I've downloaded.

There was a burgundy-marked leaf coming up in a side bed where I remembered planting Chalochortus (which this wasn't) and then vaguely remembered planting something else with it... Well, it bloomed yesterday! I looked up my B&B order last fall, and it's Tulip 'Donna Bella'.

Wallaby, we dug those bulbs out of the ditch in front of where a church used to be over 60 years ago. That church was moved in the 1940s, so I imagine those bulbs were in the ground then. We dug them out in the late 70s.

Loving everyone's pics! Finally have a few semi-decent shots I have to show off because what a beautiful spring it is!

I've had these late single tulips for several years now and they return reliably. They were supposed to be red with white tips, but they look like 'Lilac Perfection'

T. tarda have been beautiful, and are just starting to fade.

When the sun was shining and these T.humilis were open, I could'nt get a good shot. But you get the idea how nicely the tulips worked with Heuchera 'Silver Scrolls' behind them.

Neal where are the fairies and pixies? Fairy tale land! What a sudden explosion!

This is my what-I-believe-to-be Narcissus poeticus recurvus, and what a coincidence kb! They must like hanging around ditches!

What a nice variety.
I'm stuck with just a few standard things from old plantings.
Guess I'll have to go shopping this Fall.
Here is another shot of the Grape Hyacinths.

And her offspring. I appreciate the Corydalis and the Hellebore reseeding, but did they have to do it on top of that poor tulip.

Andy still a great shot! Now you know how it feels to be an ant!

pollyk your corydalis is amazing! Mine must be 7 years old and not yet quite that big, but has made a couple of small offsets. I find them on the surface and have to bury them.
Yours look to be cosy companions, is the tulip about to flower? Tulips appreciate a dry summer rest so it probably suits it.

somewhere, PA

Neal - its glorious!!!!!

The tulip is about to flower, but I think it's getting pushed around too much to stand up straight.
The corydalis is only three years old, and I have had about 10 offspring already. What a hussy!

neal, pics pics are SCREAMING spring!

Columbia Heights, MN(Zone 4a)

Neal, your pics are fabulous. I've already placed an order with B&B for next year and Lady Jane is on the menu. I'm adding about 5 more species tulips. I just love those little guys.

My Tarda just started sending up flower stems so I'm guessing they will open pretty soon. I thought Toronto was more red. Hum...Great looking Frits too. I always thought they bloomed later in Spring. I planted 5 reds last fall and I'm not sure they made it or not. Right now everything looks like lilies (LOL).

BTW All - When I placed my B&B order, there were already some fall bulbs that were sold out.

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Thanks all! This is my 4th spring living here, and until last fall I mostly concentrated on getting perennials established, so this new, glorious color is making me giddy now.

Polly, I love the corydalis and the way it and the hellebore chose to pair up. Hope my little corydalis solida looks like yours someday.
