What is the signifcance of the blue and green colors of the thread titles?
It apparently doesn't apply to which ones you have looked at, since some that I have looked at are either color, and so are some that I have never looked at.
colors of thread titles
LOL Have no idea. You might check under FAQ.
I checked under FAQ before I posted, and found nothing on that subject.
I think the green indicates you have looked at the thread at some time.
The blue indicates you have never looked at it.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please.

If you shut your computer off without going through a normal shutdown, you will likely lose those green titles.
I 'like' knowing which ones I have already looked at. :-(
As I said in the beginning, it does not depend on whether I have or have not looked at it. Some that I 'know' I have never opened are the same color as ones that I have....and vice versa.
Could you have accidentally clicked on one that you didn't intend to open and that's why it's green?
It could be that your computer is not "remembering" correctly. In my case, I have, at some point, looked at all the ones in green and haven't looked at all the ones in blue. As I understand it, the green are for ones you've opened and the blues are for ones you haven't opened. But if it really bothers you, you might ask Dave. You may have a setting wrong on your computer that "confuses" the purpose of the color coding.
Nancy, my poor old computer is almost obsolete!! :-( So it could very well be it. Between it , and me, we are both about ready for the compost bin! ;-)
I have about every setting possible for good viewing. It was my son's machine before it was mine, and computer programing and analysis is his career.
I am becoming quite used to ignoring things that I cannot change. :-)
Thanks for the suggestions.
The reason some threads you've looked at appear blue rather than green is because the browser/computer has refreshed itself. It happens to everyone, once there's a refresh or a cleared browser history, it changes to blue.
There's a way to know which you've already looked at and that's to 'Watch the Thread' for each of them, those you have posted to or created are saved anyway on your My Info Page.
Yep. I'm already 'watching' 40 of them!
