edited to say it would be best to use a yahoo or hotmail email account when signing up for this.

Canadian Contingent @ Dave's Garden
Done!
Ann
As soon as they put my "city" in the locations list I will. Imagine - they've never heard of Blyth, Ontario (popl. about 900) before :-)
Just saw that. Ü
This is going to make it soooooooooo much easier to picture where all you live. :)
Darn.........you can move the marker Ginny. Just pick somewhere that is nearby and then manually move it.
I've requested the addition of Blyth. I'll check for it regularly. If it's not there in a couple of days I'll do what you suggest. They have Londesborough, which is about 1/4 the size of Blyth and only 5 km away, so I don't think it should be a problem for them to put it there.
Edited for dumb blonde syndrome :-) Correction - I can see Londesborough and even Blyth on the map if I zoom in but the place names are not recognized. Hopefully they will add it soon.

Erynne
Done!
BUT I already have a message - from somebody in California! Is there some way to block that sort of thing? Dont want to have to deal with messages from people who are not members of the websites I belong to!

Change your email addy to a hotmail/yahoo account. You can also put it on your blocked list.
Edited to say don't answer it........when they first contact you they don't see your email addy. It is set up like Dave's used to be.

I love frapper. Its so neat. Makes you realize how small the internet is making the world. Big country yet its really easy to contact so many people so far from home.
Edit: Why does it say there are 7 female members and 1 male members even though there are only 6 members who have joined?

Ginny put hers in but then removed it........she's waiting for them to put Blyth into the system.
I agree bubbles :) .......Milan's program blew us all away when he originally did it.
'Cause I've set up my info at Clinton and just removed the marker until I see whether or not they add Blyth for me :-)
I also noticed our Canadian Liebling snuck his marker in. :)
just been there, and done that ;)
Linda
Ü Getting populated by leaps and bounds now.
Didn't have my little Hamlet, so I went to the next nearest city. Cool idea.!
Don
Happy to see you there Don :)......I had no idea where you'd be located on the map.
I've added myself back to the map. My location says Clinton, but I have repositioned the pointer to Blyth (about 15 km NE of Clinton). Actually, I used the satellite image and put myself within a house or two of my actual location :-)
Done!
Good to see you back Ginny and glad to see you joined us as well georgianbay. Ü
Does anyone know what handle Serena (from Toronto) goes by?
Got it .

LOLOL welcome aboard Sofer! ;)
p.s. ROFLMBO @ your shoutout Sofer ;)
Blyth has been added by Frappr admin, so now I'm where I'm supposed to be. That was fast - I'm impressed!
Hey Sofer - welcome to Canada! We can always use new territory (and the tax base that goes with it) :-)
Hello! Uhoh, tax base??? maybe northern NY better reconsider! LOL! I think I managed to do it correctly enough, although not as thoroughly as Ginny did!!! BAM
LOL........looks like we gots ourselves a piece of New York too. :) Welcome BAM, Susan and Heatherbelle (I see I missed you above).

I'm the only Nflder yet...where's diggindirt?
Todd you do look mighty lonely out there. I was beginning to think the East Coasters weren't aware that the map could move. ;)
Multiple people can share the same marker.
LOLOLOL Milan you'd better find some Visine soon........(and maybe ease up on the tall liquid blonde stuff ;)

I want to know who this Matt is from California, and how he attached himself as my friend the moment I pushed send. I noticedd he is a friend to others also. Anybody know him? He is not my friend anymore because I removed him, hope it doesn't hurt his feelings.
Also, I'm curious who Serena Fernandes is at DG?
No idea but at least he's the only one (and the block option does work well. :)
LOLOL.......echoes (re her location)!!!!! I really shouldn't be laughing this much at work. ;)
Patrons are really starting to look at me funny! ;S

Echoes Matt in Ca must have some kind of automatic answer when people join that site - I got an instant reply too. But as advised above - dont answer!
carol
I didn't even look at his message. I just removed him. I don't see where you can block anyone, like lilypon said though.
So who is Serena?
In my home computer's Incredimail account I can click on Messages then on Block Sender.
In Yahoo click on Options (upper right corner, about an inch down from top of screen) and then on Block Addresses (Block addresses from which you don't want to receive mail).
My hotmail account is no longer valid but I'm pretty sure that option was there as well.
******************************************
In all of the above you have to manually type in the email addresses you want to block.
What email account did you use to sign up Brenda?

BTW if you click on the *My Frapper* tab you can then click on *remove* under Matt's name.
Geez Echoes I didn't realize you were up in Churchill. You are really in Zone 1 or 2. How do you keep the polar bears out of your pineapples. Hee Hee.
They don't like pineapples Steve. Gets stuck in their teeth.
Do you have any David Thompson history or statues in Churchill? He is my hero and I knew that he started his career there with the Hudson Bay Co.
I would rather the pineapple get stuck than me being stuck in their teeth.
