Inserting a quote

Mississauga, ON(Zone 6a)

Sorry if I'm in the wrong forum but I've searched every where I can think of and can't find information on how to insert a quote.

Seems to me that there used to be a place where one could find information like this.

Any help would be most appreciated. Joan

Joan, really simple, just:

No spaces between the bracket(s) and whatever you want to quote.

Joan once you take the spaces, between the brackets, away it will work

Oops, I goofed! Lilypond is right, just take out the spaces (between brackets) of her example and it'll work.

Aha, thank you Pam, it is like HTML except box-brackets are used instead of angle-brackets. Is this peculiar to Dave's Garden only?

I don't know but it is a great opportunity to try a quote box for the first time!

Is there a how-to place on Daves Garden? I couldn't find any information on this. Joan

Thanks Magpye, I found it after the fact. How could I miss this oh so obvious tab? All I can say is that I was looking for something else that I thought used to be here.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!! LOL

As an FYI, except for Home Talk and Garden Talk (which share the same forum-related FAQs), every other tab has its own set of questions and answers. Click on the tab, then click on the FAQ link for tips and hints. Happy exploring!

Thanks for the info Terry. I need all the help I can get. :)
