Has anyone ever buried a small plastic swimming pool to plant water loving plants, such as cardinal flower?
Buried swimming pools
I did, I had all sorts of water plants growing. I layed black plastic over it to hide the coloring. Eventually it sprung a leak.
I'm thinking about it. Otherwise my cardinal flowers and others always have to be in the shade. Did you buy a cheap plastic one and slice drain holes in it, or use yours strictly for water plants? I want to add dirt.
I made a pond and had various water plants, including taro from the grocery store. I had goldfish also.
That sounds neat. Too cold here, unless I took the fish in over the winter. It is something I've thought about.
