Well, Hi Steel Datura! Fancy seeing you here! Do you believe these new doubles out now?
How have you been?
OK I am lost John, which one is not like Desiree? I had tried that one a couple of times I think and sadly it was a failure to thrive for me.
I'm Back
Hi John, I'd say Wlecome Back, but I'm new to the forum so it probably would not be approrpriate. LOL! I love the pics of your brugs! You must have A HUGE yard to have so many!
I also love the pics of the nanners Ctrestedchik posted. My nanner tree is blooming and each day I rush out to see how different the bllom looks! LOL!
I won't be at the swap this year as I don't have anythign to swap this year...nor a truck to tote trades in. But I hope to be there next year since it is 'just down the road a piece' from me. I'm just north of Dothan.
Marcie
Hey Kell :)
This looks like it could be a year of beautiful brugs. Hopefully Mother Nature will treat us better this year.....
Been good, just busy.....
Glad to see you back, Eva! Presently, my plants are being drowned but I can hope. LOL.
Marcie, I am going to speak out of turn, but I say go to the RU and enjoy!! You do not have to bring any plants, I bet there will be plenty that are not even set for trades but just extras the owners are trying to find a loving home for. I know some of the people that will be there and I know you will have just great time. I think the plant part might just be an excuse for everyone to get together and plant chat.
Bama,
You wont find a more generous group of people! Believe me, there will be plenty enough to fill your vehicle! Please don't let lack of trades stop you from going!
I regret that I wont be able to go this year, but its kinda tough to rationalize 1500 miles, lol. Even without the plants, the people are incredible!

Kell, Fleming Island Spider is the same X as Desiree, But as anyone knows the cross (even x 2) can bring you anything. If this was not true I guess we should all toss out RK's and EP's ?

John, all I see is the red X ,too.
Dave has been hard at work all day switching over the DG servers. I am sure the pictures will be back.
TY Kell
I sure wish I could see your pretty pics, John. I bet they are great.
And good for you that you got a great brug from the same cross as Desiree. Maybe it will do better where I live than Desiree did.
You are so right, the more I see seedlings bloom from the same pod, the more I realize how much luck is involved. Just one out of a whole pod can be special, or maybe you get 30 look a likes. Hopefully not 30 dogs too. LOL. No telling up front esp on the first cross of 2 brugs. I guess there is an infinite amount of possibilities from one cross since the gene combinations are so vast. Though stands to reason if you start with 2 beauties, you will hopefully get mostly beauties back.
This summer I have a couple of pinks I have been working on for a while. I sure hope this is the year I get my perfect PINK brug. LOL
