Darius, I also would like to be considered a 'sister'...like McCool, I only have brothers and although I love them to death, a sister sure would be nice.....especially one that I have so much respect and admiration for..

Coffee and...For Monday, April 3, 2006 =^..^=
Ann, I know the squirrels are bad. But I can't stand by and let a baby anything starve or be killed by my dogs.
Oz, I know you are giving me a hard time, and I do understand why you have to control the critters. I am hoping we don't reach a point where I have to do that. We will do what we have to do I guess.
Darius, count me in as a 'sister', I do have a half sister myself but I love her to pieces. But I would love to have you too. :-)
Maria, that is an excellent solution to not going in the crate. I will have to remember that one. LOL
I have the daily up for tomorrow

Have a peaceful and restful night everyone...

Well, I did make it back. I pushed the dust bunnies around, did 3 loads of laundry, then ran out of steam, and rested this afternoon. Woke with a headache this morning, and as the day progressed, was having fever and chills, joint pain, and muscle aches. DS had to take GF to the emergency room yesterday, and it was the flu. I had been around her several times over the past few days, so guess i am heading in that direction. Now I took the flu shot, gobbled Vitamin C, and ate healthy this winter, avoiding anything like it until APRIL!! This is truly the pits.
Well, know that I have read everything, just don't have the energy to comment. As I have dozed off and on all day, hope that I can go to bed and sleep well, and wake well!
Darius, ditto from here. I would be most honored to be your sister. Who needs the crap from the real family? A neighbor several years ago, was accused by his daughter of molestation. She had gotten a PHD in Psychology, and had Repressed Memories. She broke all ties with her father, still will occasionally have lunch with her mother, but this devasted these good people. I don't believe the "repressed memories" thing one whit. So don't you fret about her, just focus your thoughts and deeds, on someone/something that is deserving.
About the Mantis Tiller. I bought one last year, and it does take some getting used to. A rear tine tiller, pulls itself forward, but the mantis, is one that you start, then drag it backward to let it do it's tilling. I am so short, that I need to have the handles lowered to the lowest setting. I sent Mantis a suggestion, that they make adjustable handles, so that us vertically challenged people can handle them. When I use the tiller, I have to reach about shoulder height to grasp the handles, and I usually end up, tilting the tiller, so that it doesn't really dig in like it should. Now DH can do it, and do it properly. I wanted something that I could use, so that I would not have to wait for DH to prepare a bed for me. So I can use it somewhat.
Well, I am feeling miserable, have taken some tylenol, and plan on hitting the bed, and hopefully sleep until noon tomorrow.
Have a good night.
WOW!! Sisterhood increases, and I feel so honored (and humbled) by everyone who volunteered.
((( Most Honorable Soul Sister Darius ))),
Luv ya and have always felt we are alike enough to be sisters but prolly will never meet.
Let your star continue to shine.
Hugs, Shirley
Darius, you know very well I have allways been one of your 'sisters 'and a good pal. Always will be
Oh yes soul sisters!! Kinda like the Blues Brothers, but should we all wear silly socks instead of the dark glasses"?
Dmcdevitt (Dorothy), if any of you have looked at my photo on my DG home page, you know I wear silly socks! Of course I reserve them just for DG occasions!
I'm so glad to have quickly inherited a BUNCH of NEW sisters, and I love you ALL!
