Everyone's pictures are simply amazing, I like to see different styles of plants. Common in one area, rare in another. Wonderful. That T. praestans unicum is to die for.

Finally, my favorite geophyte in teh whole world:

James, is that last one a Fritillaria? It is very interesting looking!

Denver, CO

I have a Zantedeschia only coming up now. Dang, you are early, Steve.
Frit. michailovskyi. I love it and have so many more than I thought I had.

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

Hopefully, with the co-ops back, we can have one for Spring bulbs this Fall. I am seeing lots of pretty plants on this thread!

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Janet, I'm coveting your anemones! They have such a fairy-tale meadow look to them, enchanting. The A.nemorosa has beautiful foliage to.

Kenton, I love 'Ballerina'. The lily flowering tulips are so graceful with their swaying stems.

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

vossner your mind must be shot by now! Thalia do have a certain charm, and yes T Unicum is in a class of it's own I think, nothing else around like it!

flowerfrenzy that is what you can do with a huge tree! It has its benefits, but also its drawbacks. They are really sweet little woodlanders, good ground cover too, for a while anyway.

Andy I love your 1st orange centred narcissus, so bright. The second one looks like one I got from my local, I think it's called Avena and has just started flowering too. Not sure how long it's been around but I can't find it online. Bloms catalogue had it but I threw all my old ones out!

Kenton all those colourful tulips, they are gorgeous! I have had a long interest in fritts too, but have only just started collecting them, they can be expensive for the more interesting ones. I got F acmopetala last year, also grew F persica from seed, I have 10 growing now.

Steve, lovely calla! Would that be Crystal Blush? Mine are just starting to grow, I won't have flowers for months! I don't think I would get away with growing them in the ground either, but if I get enough I can try!

Neal I like the A nemerosa I think more than any, and the leaves are attractive. They do look 'enchanting'!

this is my N 'Avena'?

Wallaby, That may be it, Avena. Thanks.
It always faces down, tough to get a good shot.

OK, all you warm zones, things are starting to pop up north. I came home tonight and was greeted by a dozen little cheery Greigii Peacock Tulips. My Scilla started blooming last weekend. The Peacocks are so dainty and pretty. Yellow with a little maroon coloring on the reverse side. Wish I had a digi to show them off.

I took out the camera after work to catch the show going on here in Pa. Next wave of tulips are blooming.

beaker so do I wish you could show them off! Everythings starting to 'pop' here, after all the cold we've had 2 warmer days, 15&17C, but dropping a few degrees midday with chill winds. About time!

The Thalia have suddenly popped

Just noticed it is Vossner's birthday. Happy B-day, Voss!

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Happy Birthday vossner, I slipped up today!

Northwest, OH(Zone 5b)

Wow, things sure ARE popping around here! We are 10-15 degrees above normal, and the plants are LOVING it! Just two days ago, I really thought my two kinds of epimedium hadn't made it through the winter, and today they have LEAVES! Also, two days ago, I was digging down to see if the fern-leaf peony I planted last Novermber was still down under the mulch and soil and I couldn't even FIND it. I worried it had rotted or something. Today, it's not only up, it has a flower bud on it! I didn't even expect it to bloom this year.

Tammy, spring has sprung in Barto! Just gorgeous! And where did you get those double bloodroot? I love them. Saw them offered once for an arm and a leg (don't tell me you're hobbling around the garden missing limbs, LOL)

Spring is here to with bountiful blooms, and I'm in Heaven!

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

bluegrass I had phlox subulata, about 4 different ones and they are pretty, but mine have disappeared all but Emerald Cushion Blue and it does'nt often do much. I think they need a different spot, or are not long lived. Ice Follies are very delicate, almost like a species.

Moby I love the green eyed Narcissus, do you know its name?

I have seen Sang canadensis in Thompson & Morgans catalogue some time ago, they do cost 2 arms and 2 legs, so Tam how do you garden?

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

This isn't a bulb but I wanted to share it. Our apple trees are in full bloom. I love butterflies. They were moving so much I could hardly get a good picture.

Thanks for remembering me, my bulb friends. I had a great day.

I am sooooo glad I bought thalia, for fall delivery. great pictures everybody. I finally found something googling for gigantonarc WP's favorite, but being out of season, there wasn't much there.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Thalia have a nice scent, too! I have a little clump by the corner of the house... Their scent is a little like paperwhites, but more sweet than musky (to my nose, anyway), and not nearly as overpowering as the paperwhites I had a couple of years ago that we moved to more & more distant parts of the house (they ended up out in the garage, LOL).

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Are you ready for a narcissus Replete? I have 2 survivors, not huge but flowering, and hmmmmm, this is the side view, the flash has made it look a little pink, I don't think it is. Not really very attactive.
