I can't seem to find the answer to this. I recieved a disturbing D-mail that I would like to delete. Is there some way that I can ?
Marian
Deleting disturbing D-mail
Contact Administration. They can do it for you.
Marian - What a sad state of affairs when you (and others) get dmail that is upsetting.
I'm sorry it happened to you. There are some folks at DG who have nothing better to do with their time than hurt other people through their words.
Smile: there are many more wonderful people here!
Arlene/pirl
Marian,
Please don't let this person ruin your fun on the site.
Pirl is quite right, contact one of the administrators, who can
help you.
Then come back and join the good folks!
:-) Karen
It's okay now. I have chose to ignore it . I hope it was just a misunderstanding, (maybe on both our parts).
Marianinark, I think you're a wonderful person. I hope you're right about a possible misunderstanding
I felt certain Terry would have removed it by now! You're much too nice to receive any disturbing Dmails.
Thanks billy and pirl. Terry would have removed it if I had thought it was important enough, but she explained how complicated the removal would be, and I chose to leave it be. It really wasn't that bad ... just disturbing, and confusing. It really is okay. :-)
You're the better person for rising above it.
I just don't want to cause any trouble. I wish the best to the one who misunderstood me. I prefer friends to enemies. :-)
Marian,
On your dmail page is a button to make folders for your emails. Make one for "Trash" and store it in there. :-)) Out of sight....out of mind.
Donna
SoCal, Terry suggested making a folder titled 'Delete' . That would work also. I just haven't done it yet.
Actually, I have been too involved with my DH's health problems. He has emphysema, and chronic bronchitis, and was just diagnosed with possible prostate cancer. ( He is 79, I am 73.) Everything else has sort of taken a back seat .:-(

My prayers are with you. Even if it is prostate cancer it works very slowly with older men. My father-in-law had it and didn't even die of it when he passed on at 91. I wish you the best.
I'm so sorry Marian. Perspective, that's what it's all about.
Thanks. I take it one day at a time., and I have faith in God.
Marian, I will be thinking of you and your husband.
