Spring's got to be on it's way....look who was at (or should I say on!) our door this morning!

There were 2....here's the other one.

Now when I hear them 'peeping' I'll know spring's arrived....shouldn't be long!

Oh I LOVE the sound of peepers in the spring!! They have just started here. I live a little ways from a creek and I hear them from there. It just gets my sap flowing every spring! thanks for the pictures - LOVE them!

I guess we're to cold for them because I've never seen them here.

Great pictures, Nan!!

I sure miss hearing frogs sing in the spring. When I grew up we lived out in the country and had a canal running behind our property. I loved listening to the frogs.

I heard some I think it was in Feb. when it was so warm for a couple weeks. Haven't heard them lately. I love them too.

Glad you enjoyed them.

We know they're treefrogs, but everyone 'round here calls them 'spring peepers'!

I just thought it was pretty cool to walk out onto the front porch that morning and see them 'stuck to' the door!
The kids really enjoyed that, too.

We have a creek across the road, beyond a cornfield, so it's about 500 feet or so from the house.

They're definitely a welcome sign of spring, but on a real warm night with the windows open, they're rather loud, lol!

How cute!

Thank you for sharing the pictures. I just love them!

Thanks for sharing. I love the sounds of the frogs. We've got lots now.

Years ago I shared a house in Santa Cruz, CA that had a very boggy back yard during the winter in spring. The frogs were so loud, folks could hear them when I talked on the phone.
