suggestion-garden history and/or restoration anyone?

Minneapolis, MN(Zone 4b)

I am very interested in garden restoration and/or history, I don't know what to call it. Is there anyone else that would like a forum on this?

Did you try the Heirlooms forum? I think you'd find some other folks talking about historical gardens and heirloom plants (both vegetable and flowers)

I tried it and it seems to be mainly plants I was looking for more on the gardens themselves.

Pauline, knowing the folks in the Heirlooms forum, I'd really encourage you to start some threads with the questions you have. I think they'd be happy to help you - and who knows, it might just spark an avalanche of other questions and threads. If it does, we can always come in and create a distinct forum for the "historical gardens" questions ;o)

Good idea, thank you.

I can hardly wait to find the discussion, Pauline!
We spent a day at Longwood Gardens, the old DuPont estate in Chadds Ford, PA, last month, and were as impressed as we were delighted with what we saw.
