Well, I am back, no pun intended!! Was on the couch a majority of the afternoon. Did fold some laundry, and fixed spaghetti for supper. After cleaning the kitchen, DH went to spend the night with his mom, and I hit the couch again, about 6:45 and slept until about 8:30. So if any has a sleepsless night, I might be here waiting for you!!

I have been having slow connections, don't know if it is the equipment here or at DG, but has been frustrating!! I so want to show you the little flower I found, but so far, my puter times out, and I can't post the pic.

Bal, today must be a record for you, you have posted more today, than sometimes in a month. Are you lonely? Glad you got the behaviour thing straightened out, and the girls are sparkiling clean. My Mr. B has to pout for about 2 hours after a bath, so I wouldn't be able to post a pic like yours. He would be all dry and fluffed by the time, I could convince him to come out of hiding!!

Mary, 6 guests, for how long? Ouch, I don't do extended stays, maybe a couple of nights, but anything longer is a real stretch for me.

They had a work day at church today, and unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well enough to go. DH went, they are preparing the basement for painting. Had a lot of sanding to do in order to get peeling paint off cement block walls. That done, they are priming it tomorrow, and since that sounds like "men's work" I probably won't go then either. That is not a sexist comment, just the gall darn truth!!. They have some spray painters, you know the "big boy toys" and I think that a female who wanted to use one of theirs would be properly rebuffed.

Oz, I often write letters of complaint. I have gotten some good results with some product failures. One time, used a liquid automatic dish wash detergent, not realizing that it has some bleach in it and ruined a new pair of jeans. I wrote and told them, and they re-imbursed me the cost of the jeans! Writing government officials is usually an exercise in futility. I worked in government for 33 years, and yes, we had a "department" who handled the letters. I worked for a state politician. The elected official almost never read the correspondence. We even had a machine that signed the letters, with the elected official's signature. So to those who have had "their bubble bursted", join the real world. Good luck on your complaining, hope it brings results!!

Well, I think I have already welcomed the newbies, so just want to stay, stick around, the conversations are sometimes lively, informative, griping/complaining, and sometimes downright funny.

Gonna go check out some other forums, and be back later.

This is the little flower I saw blooming in the garden yesterday. It is planted where I planted tulips, but is not like the ordinary tulips. Can anyone tell me what it is?

Sorry I'm so late, been trying to get some prescriptions ordered online. Still not done so I just started the daily and won't comment on the day.

It IS a tulip. I planted some of those this year only mine are red but they have the striped leaves.

I think they are really pretty. They are miniatures too.

kittymom, thanks, I had never seen these, they are so pretty, only have the one, which came out of a bag purchased at walmart. Maybe he/she wanted to impress me with the uniqueness!!, Just hopped in the bag!!
